Some People Here Are Confused

Wow - hey, no problem man. I still don’t see how that’s what you got out of yesterday’s discussion, but clearly there aren’t many people here worthy of being in your presense.

Obviously, you have accomplished what most other people never will, and like I said yesterday, there’s little need for someone like me to even post anything anyway, since all anyone really needs is to listen to you, and the guys who are developed enough to be allowed to speak.

So, best of luck in making these boards what you want them to be. : )
Who is even talking to you? You have been bitching and whining for two days now and no one is even calling you out.

Leave if you want to leave. What I don’t get is the drama because no one is even talking about you right now.

I honestly don’t see the relevance. If you decide to put yourself out there on a public forum then expect certain things. Some one being more developed than myself doesn’t mean i can’t point out certain areas they need to improve.

Apparently the concept IS that hard to grasp.

If BR was posting in RMP, then by all means the faceless can tear him apart.

BUT, he was here to have a conversation, not have some faceless douche randomly put down his progress.

If someone is ASKING for criticism, then fine comment. If they aren’t, the faceless should shut their fucking mouths, and keep their opinion of others progress to themselves.

Ya dig?
Exactly. If you haven’t even built yourself up any better than the guy you are criticizing, please just shut up. This is a bodybuilding forum which means RESULTS MATTER. This is not some effort to hear every random person’s opinion when they haven’t done shit themselves.

This is all obviously because of one simple little question. That question was not answered, but rather turned around to be made into something it wasn’t. Which happens all the damn time.

I do keep topics out of the BB forum that aren’t relevant to BB. I just thought that perhaps fruits/veggies could/should be part of a BBers diet (not just for health either), to a degree. And I was simply curious as to if it was or if it wasn’t.

I’ll go back to the GAL forum now, lol.
Your question wasn’t the problem. Every jackass who jumped in that we hardly ever even see in this forum is who the problem is.

The guy who made that statement about spinach is a prime example.

Most of these jackasses barely even lift weights but feel the need to make themselves known in every BODYBUILDING thread.
Gotcha, what you’re saying is I’m not on the shit list… cool

Would you have felt the same if a compliment was given?.. Would you still recommend the faceless to STFU ?

Just for clarification, i wasn’t speaking in reference to this thread, because BR did ask a question in his post that was directed to the photo he posted. It’s all the other times i’ve heard it.

Stop allowing all these petty things to get to you, it’s really bad for your health.

Anyways keep fighting the good fight brother.

I do see a problem in general with the boards, I just thought they’ve improved over the last year. I’m not one who’s going to argue with big guys about how they got big, but I’m also not going to defer to them on topics unrelated to their size which is what happened in the last topic about general health. I would respect what you specifically had to say on the matter because you’re a doctor but not because you were bigger.

Are you asking the smaller guys not to post and make suggestions at all? Or just not to debate with the bigger guys when they enter the thread. I had a debate with lewhitehurst a couple days ago, was that out of line even though I was respectful during the debate? I pose that question to him as well because if I’m doing more harm then good in the forum I’d like to honestly know.
Think about this. Issues like this are why I avoid some of those “dental question” threads…because people feel ENTITLED to a response…even though as a professional, I GET PAID FOR THAT EVERYDAY…but they want it all for free and some actually have the nerve to get pissed if you don’t answer quickly enough. Mind you, I don’t even mind helping people out…until they turn that help into MY OBLIGATION.

The same applies here. That other thread is now over 11 pages long with people in it that I have NEVER seen post any serious topics in this forum at all.

If you want to know how I eat, then ask, but if the thread turns into some “all forum members get to make a joke every other post while asking prof x 500 questions that would require me to stop working my day job to answer”, then perspective has been lost.

n the gym, I would avoid about 80% of the people who post here. Why? Because their mentality has the potential to not just hold themselves back but me as well. They major in the minors.

To them, spinach is the priority…not several years of busting ass in the gym and LOOKING like it.

If I see some guy who is a beginner but is working his ass off every time I see him, that guy can ask me anything.

If I see some guy who I KNOW is not serious, some guy who is ready to quote some guru word for word while ignoring what actually works for most people…I will walk the other way.

There is a reason lewhitehurst understood what I meant from the beginning even though I did not consult him before making this thread.

If you guys are ok with running everyone off who has actually made enough progress to listen to, then so be it.

This board has done it to several others from Gifted (Brandon Curry) to Goldberg right on down the line.

YOU are not one of the smaller guys I am speaking of. Lanky is definitely not. I am referring to every fucker who we hardly ever even see in this forum who is in that thread just to stir shit or joke around and nothing else.

Do you really think Spinach Boy is shocking anyone with his development?

Obviously not dude. Come on. I don’t think either of us are unsophisticated enough to not know the difference between a random put down, and a random compliment.

Compliments are obviously welcome.

The world isn’t black and white, judgment and common sense are needed to navigate it. Now I know you’re just being a smartass, and I appreciate that, but just as well…

The “answer” he received, was not in anyway, anything but jealousy and a putdown.

They don’t. It just gives these boards a bad name if it is allowed to happen without someone speaking up.

nice left hook and jab there

I honestly think that if I put a picture of a chubby guy as my avatar and made my posts very scientific sounding more people would listen to what I have to say, haha.

…and that is sad…because you are probably right.

I am not sure how the hell scientific studies even got brought into that other thread.

People here don’t even seem to want to discuss how to make progress. I am not sure what the hell they are even here for other than to TRY to sound smart on the internet…even though most of them don’t seem to have any more knowledge than a very basic Google search.
The Mighty Stu wrote:

Agreed. I am apparently eating wrong…because my focus should be on more SPINACH and not more muscle.

This clusterfuck brought you by Popeye.
I’ve disagreed with many people on here, some are the more experienced members, with clearly proven physiques, and others are younger, or more inexperienced trainers, who obviously read a lot,… but I at least always TRY to be respectful. Some people almost seem to feel the need to disprove anything that goes against their current mode of thinking.
Once again, well said.
Sometimes I think we all need to get our heads out of our own asses and look around a bit. Newer trainers can learn from what has worked for older guys. Sure not everything will work for them, but you should be intelligent enough to give something an honest appraisal and then make your own judgment (regardless of what the latest muscle rags say!). Some of the older trainers need to realize that they may indeed be the genetic freaks, and what worked for them may not work for everyone (although, in my personal opinion, usually they’re more right than wrong based on what I see on here).

Can’t we just all get along?! -lol

S
Oh, we can. We apparently have the stage right now seeing as how my profile has been viewed over 1,000 times this month and that other thread has been at the top of the most popular pages for 48 hours now.

My thing is, are they actually fucking listening?

One of things that bothers me about giving the more accomplished trainees on this site their due respect, is that if say I myself do so, I am now in some guys non-existent Cult, or a Nuthugger, or some bull shit.
Antares wrote:

Yeah, I see that shit often as well. I apparently have “followers”…even though I disagree just as often with many of the same people. Most of the people in the T-Cell initially got there because they did NOT agree with me yet were able to hold their own well.

I notice that mentality seems to come from the same types of people. They act as if they think they are rebels…as if they can’t see the clique they are now a part of.

This also seems to only apply to certain people since I never see Stu getting branded with “followers” even though he and I have even shared that Biotest trip.

Anyone else sick of professor x’s rants?

I give you a lot of credit, and a hell of a lot of people look up to you here, but stfu. In the grand scheme of things, your tantrums don’t make a shits worth of a difference. It’s the internet.

The “tantrums” of some here are why there is a T-Cell. They may be why some of us got chosen to go to Biotest.

What is funny is guys like you who are apparently blind to all of this.

How about you let me take care of me. I think I have this covered.

That’s all fine and dandy, but “taking care of me” and putting the little shits on the board in their place are two different things. Seems like you’ve been in the game long enough to learn to ignore the bull shit, and focus on what you’re doing.

But I guess we’re all getting bigger from this online discussion, so lets keep it going.
