OOH! OOH! I’m scheduling a pin-up photo shoot for the end of this madness as well!! A friend uses these photographers that travel to YOU…it includes everything: hair, makeup, costumes, props…etc
And there work is WICKED good…

So yesterday was day 1…push-ups, pull ups, some rows, and back flies…Oh and the AB ripperX!! 11 moves/25 reps each!! hahahaha…I’m soooore…
Today is day 2…SUPPOSED to have been plyometrics, but I chickened out and went and did 30 min Hill intervals on the bike at the gym…some hypers, kettlebell squats, gg/bg…
You haven’t completely lost me…I just feel like mixing shit up. And I’m feeling vain and lean-ness is taking a priority…if I have to sacrifice a bit of strength, so be it.
I did a photo shoot last year and it was one of the most fun things I’ve EVER done. You will have such a great time! Whatever you need to do for the lean look you want, why go right ahead. I’ll be interested to read about it.
Great news…I was experimenting with the pull up bar thing we have and I found a doorway that it fits!!! happy dance
We went and played outside…It must be near 60…I’ve been ready for Spring since October!!!

LS- that ab ripper is redic. Who REALLY does 16 min of abs at a time?? Did you ever get awesome enough to complete all the reps along with them? Its crazy! Or Im just really really outta shape.
I worked up to doing all of the reps even with the added difficulty moves - hands up in the air etc. I had a pretty good core strength base from all my years of karate.
But yeah, 16 mins of abs 3x a week is crazy. I feel like such a slacker now when it comes to abs.

I’ve never done P90X, but I did the Ab Ripper X. I love it, I wish I had the whole vid.
We had to do it in my gym class. The coach made it a big spectacle that I did the majority of it. Not all of the advanced versions though!
But if I modify the hell out of it, it wouldn’t be p90x anymore! ha!

And now MIL is all set to fly down here and take charge and I’m trying to find the right words to kindly say: BACK OFF…it’s hard though!!
I don’t even know when hubby is coming home yet. I know part of the reason is so she can see her son as well…can’t blame her. But just let the man be! We’re all going home to MI in June/July…
SIL is due to have her first baby the same weekend Julia will be in the hospital!

Glad the surgery is scheduled and that everything is moving forward. Tough situation with the MIL though. I’m the same way, I get very testy when people start getting all up in biz. Oy.

don’t know how I would handle the mil - maybe say you will need some alone time as a family but mention a schedualed trip to go and visit. Your not putting her off, just delaying a bit.

Yes it’s totally unfair that you should be handling this on your own, but he will be there at the right time, and that’s the main thing. I hope you can get a date tied down quickly. Fingers crossed for you.
