Kalle- thats the total plan!! And I was meaning to ask…how should I go about organizing my training?? I need to gain strength AND conditioning while training the lifts for the events as well.

I follow 5/3/1 it gets you better at reps and gets you strong as well.
I do some sort of high intensity stuff usually for conditioning but have been doing near zero as my next comp is very heavy and static just enjoying being a fatty for now ![]()
Interesting thing, I’ve gone up and down the same three pounds for the last almost two weeks.
Mon-Tues morning I went up 3 lbs and this morning it was gone…also, my temp is running higher…97.1 this morning.
I’m hoping for a 1lb loss by Friday. 1lb in two weeks? meh
I will also take pics/measurements. While I’m having fun with my new training, I’m still interested in seeing how the re-comping goes…still a goal of mine. to be hawt AND strong!!
the guy emailed me right away and as long as he has 5 females by the dealine, then it’s good. so far it’s me + 3 other girls that are showing interest.
so that makes 4. maybe someone else from the compound can be persuaded to do it??
i’m still pretty amazed at how i can get a good squat workout with just the women’s bar if i really focus on the mind-muscle connection.
i miss deadlifts! a lot! it sure does feel good to pick heavy shit up sometimes!

Heh, I think I may do some tabatas. I did 'em before when I was going through a Crossfit phase a few years ago. Say what you like about Crossfit but those workouts really pushed me past what I thought I could do.
Unfortunately I then spent the next 8 months catching every virus going. I think the workouts also pushed me past my body’s ability to recover. Still, less frequent super intense workouts do work.
A comp! Very awesome. Diet and training looking strong. I’m hoping you get a weight loss swoosh this week–you deserve it.

Ink- DOOOO the rows…I did pendlay 1 arm row thingies last Friday and I swear my upper back is still sore. Then again I’ve been doing lotsa upper back stuff since you mentioned it. So thanks for that!!
Ink again- hubby had to cut my wedding ring off when I was 8 months pregnant with our daughter, LOL!
poor ring. poor finger!!! I was retaining so much water at the point, the ring was pretty much cutting off circulation.
