I really enjoyed watching your calf muscle flex on these. Isn’t it nice to be strong?

OMG MiM! I’d totally do it!!

I’d have to look into it some more though - it might be a bit too hard! I’m not sure I’m strong enough to hoist boulders and I haven’t DLed in months!

Yeah, those rows look awesome! Maybe I’ll put them into my next cycle

Car deadlift?! Lol! Dude, what?

Do it! Imagine the breathless powerful women waiting to hear about it.

HA! This one looks fun though:

Log/Axle Alternating Press:
60 second time limit.
Athlete must wait for the â??Goodâ?? down signal to get credit for repetition.
Good Lift: Implement locked out under control overhead with arms straight, head through, legs and feet parallel and
stationary.
Dropping of the implement from overhead will not be allowed and may result in no credit for that lift.
Anything used to build up a â??shelfâ??, which could assist in the clean portion of the lift, such as a towel between the stomach
and belt will not be allowed.
You may pick what implement you start on.
After completing a repetition one implement, you must move on to the next implement to receive credit for another
repetition.

Anyways…I don’t know, MiM. You might have to carry the torch alone, lol.

ps. practice your cleans!

Deads looked good- rows too.

tabata’s are fun- shaky puky fun.

I like everyone is getting super excited for the strong man comp

nice work MiM

Your training makes me tired just reading it! Good stuff!

Alright MiMs. First of all, no part of Jersey is particularly FAR. Rahway is certainly doable. I could possibly be persuaded to try something like that. The coach that I’ve worked with a bit in the past has lots of strongman stuff that I could train with… and I can walk to his gym. Its like a 10 min walk from my place, max. Might be fun. I’m sure that I’d be the littlest, scrawniest competitor but I am known for being scrappy. We should talk.

Great news about the doggie. I’m sure that you’ll be a great family for her if the rightful owner doesn’t come forward.

Training looking fab, as always.

I’ll be back tomorrow for the pics!

It has the ladies as lifting a 225lb barbell seems only the boys get a car. The events aint that bad its a long way off too.

aw, the girls don’t get a car :frowning:

it does sound fun, though. in a ‘i’m glad i don’t have to do that’ kinda way. like tabatas. the rows look good. my lats need something… i mean, most things do, but i’m thinking my lats are looking particularly scrawny… especially in relation to my traps :-/

I couldn’t be bothered to take pics.

Weight is the same as it was two weeks ago…ok, I lie…I lost 4oz, HA! Maybe I can subtract the 1.5 of meat and nearly 2 lbs of veggies I had?

I GAINED .5 inch around my upper chest
and .5 inch around my butt…wtf, fml

I lost 1.5 inches under chest(like under sports bra)

What does it all mean? Hell if I know! All I can do is keep working…I don’t want to push myself into the ground if there is some hypo/adrenal stuff going on though. Maybe that’s why I did so well on crash diets…not much food and not much activity. I don’t feel like I’m overworking myself. I feel great!

I have an appt on the 26th to get checked out. I’m horrible about going to the Dr.

Whoa! Hold up. I think your measurements mean that you’re getting stronger and leaner. Especially considering that your ‘under chest’ measurement went down.

Cheer up! Let’s talk about the comp instead. Are you doing it?

Veg has access to a strongman gym, fml.

j/k sort of.

You and Maschy both would make formidable opponents. Then again, it’s for fun, right??
That’s what I’m telling myself at least. When you show up you can’t help but be competitive. I didn’t see your post before…possibly getting leaner, I don’t know. I’ll get some pics in the am when I get over myself
I know it may be silly to want to see fat loss still while training for strength…but it seems like it could happen as long as I keep the eats clean and added cardio…amirite?? we’ll see what the next two weeks bring!! Not sure if I should keep food the same and add MORE cardio to see what happens. Right now I am average 1700-1900 cals. AND YES! I am doing this comp. I am training for it whether there is a comp in the end or not.

Km and Grny!! Thanks a BUNCH!

Maschy- of COURSE it’s hard!! But isn’t that the point? To challenge yourself to do things you didn’t think you could do? RAWR!

you have an edge with cleans and pressing, etc…practice my cleans, CHECK!!!

Does this mean we can’t post our top secret training if we did this together?? haha

ALexus- I would imagine having a strong upper back for the all that pulling is good. As as accessory, you could do pull ups or rack chins? How important are lats in Oly??

Kalle! I’d rather DL the car!!!

MiMs! It does sound like you’re getting leaner! I mean, that’s a total body recomp kind of measurement! Woo hoo! Chest and Ass bigger - YES! Everything else in between smaller - YES! Good work, mama.

Lol! Well…I’m definitely a competitive person!! especially with myself, but remember I come from a team sports background, so I’m all for working together and supporting each other. “You got it girl!!” I’ll probably cheer on the other competitors too. HAH!

Maybe we can get some free shit from T NATION (tshirts?) and advertise for them…hm? Mods? You with me? Send me shit!!

Ok lover, I’m going to seriously look at the whole strongman comp and confirm in a few days

I think that those measurements are good news too. Bigger ass is always a good thing. You’ve been doing lunges and step ups and what not so now you’re reaping the benefits.

Lol I love you

Ink- DOOOO the rows…I did pendlay 1 arm row thingies last Friday and I swear my upper back is still sore. Then again I’ve been doing lotsa upper back stuff since you mentioned it. So thanks for that!![/quote]
I’ll do 'em. Had a shitty performance last night trying BB pendlays with the 10 sided plates, not a good idea. I’ll try the DB ones next time, for shizz.

That sucks about having to cut your ring off! Why didn’t you take it off before it almost amputated your finger? LOL

THANKS ALL!!

DUH!

I didn’t even think about having possibly made some lean gains…weight staying the same and losing/gaining inches FTW!!

I’ve never GAINED inches before!! I’m growing muskles, yay!!
I don’t need to grow bigger hips though, damn.

Maschy- yes!!! I wish T-Nation would make some girly v-neck ts or some little tank tops.

went and got my ‘sleeve,’ worked on today

And this is my dragon fly pal…so when I pull out ‘my guns,’ he’s gonna get ya!
Am planning on cherry blossoms to fill in…but next up will be leaves and grass stuff…

Once all the fill in stuff is complete, then he’ll start on color…yay! I actually want flowers to go up over my shoulder(s) as well.

I also got surprise flowers!! yay Hubby <3

Also had a free meal of rice and peas, nom…for dessert rice crispy treats!
