My first comp was on my birthday, funny August 20th is my moms birthday too.

the sled drag just do some sort of backwards sled drag practice it, they are brutal
deadlift you know how to do that
Stones practice stones or I’ve been putting bumper plates on a loading pin and it mimics the movement fairly well.

I like all the cardio work going on. I think most of us can go a long way with just push-ups, pull-ups and single leg BW stuff. I stayed busy with that sort of thing for 6 months before I felt like I really had to join a gym.
What are you doing to that tire? There seem to be so many options.

She MUST have some sort of beagle/lab in her, because EVERY TIME we get to the edge of the forest line, she stands solid with her legs back and tail up. I have to physically pick her up and away from the spot, lol…Hubby is excited to see if he can finally have a hunting dog. The dog he grew up with was a one shot wonder. The first shot of the gun and he was off to home.

I did! Thats the events I was commenting on if briefly. Switching back and forth each rep from axle to log each rep could throw some people off. Whats your current barbell push press at?
for your conditioning start pulling some type of sled or tire/etc backwards. Its tough and specific ![]()

I didn’t even see the motorcycle drag…which works perfectly, because I’d say my tire is about 150lbs…I could easily make it heavier if needed. I have a car tie strap thingy I can use… Sounds like a good way to train the hammies, which I need more of anyway.
