Hey, Trav…if your ever in the neighborhood!
Actually, I have to figure out ways to make the tire heavier pretty soon…although flipping it for total times is pretty tiring. I don’t time it or anything…could try that too.
ya, my neighbors already think I’m coo-coo. just wait til I rig a rope up and drag that thing. At least the little kids think I’m cool.
I had an audience doing oh carries yesterday, lol…
-Chins-4x10 supersetted with
-rear delt flyes- 4x10x8s
bb row- 4x12x75
lat raises- 4x12x8s
20 minute walk—hammies and adductors are especially toasty from yesterday.
I hear that ss cardio is good after training because your glycogen levels are depleted after the workout and fat stores will be utilized for energy blah blah blah…I’m going to do my best to be consistent with it though.
AF arrived…Absolutely ZERO PMS, compared to last month when I felt like shit(or pregnant, got scared for a minute!)
just interesting is all.
Oh, and I called the mom/daughter duo I’m supposed to see this evening. Good thing I called, cause there not coming. Her reason for not showing up without calling last week, was ‘I lost track of what day it was.’
Your lack of symptoms from AF is probably due to the clean living. Since I have cleaned up my nutrition and been consistant with that I have had no real issues with my monthly visitor - she comes quietly and then leaves very quickly.
On the tire flips, flip the tire, jump into the middle then out the other side. Turn and flip repeat sequence til puking commences…
Having the kids around during training can be fun, I had my youngest run hill sprints on Sunday. Well, more like “Go run up the hill!! (it was tiny) go go go go YAAAY!!!” and she’d hurry her tiny butt up it, haha

Really? [/quote]
Lamest. Excuse. Ever.
Can’t say I take my temperature. Although I should because I never know what my “normal” temp is and then it’s hard to determine when I’m running a low-grade fever (which would indicate a lupus flare).
As far as your question about lat raises, what do you mean? I do 'em all kinds 'a ways! But when I say “lat raise” I strictly mean arms out to the sides. Then there’s front lat raises, Y-can raises, empty can raises…
You are looking amazing! Super lean MiM! Wow, how much scale wt are you down since you started the diet. You look great.
I love the tire flipping vids. So cute. Your daughter is a tough cookie. Hope that the party goes well.
I do lateral raises all sorts of ways, sometimes even thumbs-up. Depends on what I’m feeling like at the time.
No ‘monthly visitor’ with the current arrangement, but a clean diet always helped in the past. I never ever had PMS, just very forceful grabbing pain during, like it made me throw up, which is what led me to the ring. Anyhow, glad that’s going well too.
As far as temp, I don’t take it, but often use it as my alarm. My body temp rises in the morning and wakes me up-- provided I went to bed at some reasonable hour. Curious about what you read now.
VS- you might have missed the part where the scale had not budge an ounce
But I’m moving on from that. I need a break!! It’s mentally tough to be so strict all the time. Especially when you are not getting the results you want.
Granted, a lot of people on that diet weigh in every day. Maybe I missed a dip and went back up. who knows. who cares.
I may go back for one more round before the hubby gets home…for good measure.
I’m not where I thought I would be at this time, but everyday I get closer. But I’m not getting younger, damn.
I’m going to start practicing with my calipers…ouch!
Well, there’s bent laterals, front laterals, side laterals and various elbow positions. I haven’t played with hand position yet. imho every single variation hits the muscles slightly different.
How did I miss you do sets of 10 chinups??
giggling with kimba over mim “not getting any younger”
