Soldiering On

That plan looks great to me!

And how exciting - You’re getting your own equipment…so jelly!

It was easier for me to follow “as is” cause thats all I knew. But you have already been exposed to the “lifts”, I couldnt give that up.
carry on…

so I’m now 350lbs heavier!

Got my weights…all the bars, and even a curling bar(ya, BRO!)+ weights= $125!!

Things are going in a good direction. Someone contacted me through the gyms website about personal training…I could use some extra $$$ for my tattoo fund.

But it’s cool that she reached out. Just when that area is looking gray, little rays of light peek out and renew my hope.

Wow, awesome price for the weights!

Nothing wrong with changing the program, have fun.
Just post sexy pi- I mean progress pics ;D

Yoga sounds like fun, my old gym used to have classes. Haven’t done it in months, I’m going to have to look around for some private classes! New workout plan looks solid.

I did a youtube search and hahaha! I’ve definitely seen far, far worse but I suspect he becomes douchy annoying after a while.

I’m glad things are starting to look up for you. You deserve a break.
Yoga - hmm, I’m in two minds. I go in phases - I do a few classes then stop. I like the stretching part of it but yoga tends to focus on backbends rather than stretching the parts that I, specifically, need to stretch, and it also focuses a lot on funny breathing, which I can’t be arsed with. It is good for stress, though, I’ll give it that.

this.

Have fun with your new weights - you got an awesome deal there! Thumbs up for those little rays of light!

Training:
Hauling bars and weights up the stairs.

And rucking…
wind was howling
and blowing against me
snot was flying
people staring
dirt in my shoes
couldn’t breath
spine now compressed 2 inches

But I’d do it again!!

Seriously…I love it, but any advice on how to make it less sucky on my spine/neck??(aside from getting a vest.)

I dunno but you made it sound really badass.

Thanks Cal…I felt badass! In pain, but badass.

In my quest to find a tire I came across this:
rosstraining.com/blog/2008/09/10/finding-a-tire-to-flip/

“hi, can I come look at your junk?”

lol

I just emailed a place because Im too chicken to call…

Not sure what to call it, but here are the ingredients…

12oz broccoli slaw
green onion
20 oz of shrimp
1 zucchini
1 tomato
salt
red pepper
TONS OF:lemon juice, basil and cilantro
6 eggwhites
a sprinkling of shredded coconut
optional crushed peanuts or peanut sauce would be good
And if your not lo carbin it, rice, or rice noodles… Deeewicious! (as my daughter would say.)

Just throw it in a pan and saute away!!

Also been doin something new for a change:
Keeping track of FOOD!!

Like logging it into fitday and everything! :open_mouth:

Here’s what i got today

179P
115C
45F
(32 grams of fiber from oat bran and veggies…had some raisins and coconut in there as well)

Betty, I’m happy to see that you are catching a few breaks. If you have to gain lbs., its great to do it by getting weights for a kick-ass price!

The lady from the tire place wrote back with a picture attached. She said I was welcome to any tire(s) I could haul away…a few from the picture look promising…WHEEEE!!

Looks like good pickings.

I know! I’m going tomorrow to take a look-sy!!

Yay soon, I’ll be looking at you eye to eye!

Congrats on the tires, get some heavy ones :stuck_out_tongue:

Awesome on the tires, looks like some great option there. Um on the spine compression thing, it will somthing you will need to adapt to - if it bothers ya to much take some weight out til it gets easier on the back and spine, then add some into it. Very nice to see some more weighted walks going on around here  Great stuff indeed.
That is pretty sweet on the weights too. Sounds like you are in the works to have your very own training facilty that would outshine most 24 hour fitness anywhere  Yea for you!
