I just got the “Iron Gym”, yeah the thing from all the infomercials, kind of as a joke, and it came with a little pamphlet about nutrition and such that I read through.
It said that when you start a workout routine (for like 9 weeks or whatever), you should immediately stop drinking soda and coffee. Why is that?
soda ,because the sugar is alot of empty calories.
coffee,possibly because some people add sugar and creamer to it and by cutting it out it will lower calories.
also some people tend to drink just soda or coffee and think that the liquid intake is enough for them and dont drink enough water.
Me personaly I drink diet soda,and black coffee and unsweetened tea.
just by switching to diet from regular you can cut a ton of calories out and just be sure to drink plenty of water on top of what you drink I think it will be fine.
Coffee is fine, just watch what you put in it. watch the diet soda tho, heard the coke company actually uses it to clean their engines, not to mention aspartame is terrible for you
