empty (115) for several sets just getting into the swing of things…managed around 3 ugly singles with the left. Right felt fine

All my lifts need to come up drastically before I’ll feel ready for one but, it just gives me more motivation to try harder in the gym. PC, I think your form looks spot on with the circus DB ![]()

Great day over all. After reading an article that Louie Simmons wrote, I believe the tension is 50lbs at the bottom and 110 at lockout. Very pleased but, I hate that I missed a weight. Godfather, it looks like you beat all of us at posting this time lol. Can’t wait to train tomorrow.

pretty good day in the gym, been a shitty few months, lost my job, only getting 230/week unemployment, had to have surgery 2x on my head bc of moles that may be cancerous now i have to go back tomorrow bc they didnt get it all out so this is my 3rd surgery and it will be a nasty one id say, big scar in back of my head and stitches, my gf of 2yrs whos lived with me for 2yrs and i are fighting and afraid we may call it quits, still have to fix the heat in the garage/gym, feels like life is crushing me, im not the kind of guy who likes to be crushed, or bullied, or fucked with in any way, so dont feel sorry for me and dont think this is the worst thats ever happened, ill think of some way to beat this, and i will get better bigger and stronger, some how some way! Hope everyone is doing great, thanks for everyone’s interest and support in this thread, i really feel at home on T-Nation!!!

so we will be switching things up a tad, things are still not good with the gf or ex gf not sure what we are right now no contact today what so ever, had to go in and have my 3rd surgery on my head and hopefully they got it all this time so it doesnt develop into melanoma, he said if melanoma develops there is no cure and its fatal, i had like 5 shots to numb and then around 4 stitches judging from me counting him stitching me from what i could hear and what i can see from a pic my mom snapped so i could show you guys, he advised me to not train for a week, so i figured i would go straight home and try to get a PR haha guess the doc doesn’t know who he’s dealing with huh? very proud of my team and very thankful for all of the support ive gotten through these hard times, dont make excuses ever, just put your head down and plow ahead, if you hit hard enough something’s gotta give, never quit, and never accept failure, im trying to get my faith back , so any prayers from the faithful are welcome!!!

Pretty happy with today. We havent done any heavy squatting in quite a while but, everyone did well. I really want to focus on my squat and try to get it up there! It’s going to take some time to get use to squats again but, I think our deadlifts will benefit from the work. Gotta respect PC for killing it today even though he got cut on and stitched up earlier in the day lol. That, my friends, is called dedication! After training, Godfather had to leave for work but, PC, Owens, and I went out for a little food. We all three destroyed some 2 for $20 action at Applebee’s lol That’s a lot of food!

Farmers/sandbag medley
It was rainy and cold out today, so we had to set up our farmers walk inside.
Placed some mats down, and had approx 30 feet of space to move.
1st set
210 (per hand) walked this 30 feet, grabbed sandbag and walked it back to starting position, then back down to where I laid down the farmers handles. Then I took the farmers handles the 30 feet back to the starting position. Sounds confusing I know, but when the video is posted, it will make sense.
