upper day, more of a “pump” day
worked up to 135 on jerks from the rack, practicing form
did some band assisted pull-ups both supinated and pronated grip
did some pushups against bands
some biceps and triceps,

that was about it for today just flushing some blood in and working on jerks, trying to get the SWOLE on
my mom bought us the fat ez curl bar 7ft long from elitefts for my bday :slight_smile: what a freaking awesome mom huh?! I cant wait to try this thing out!!! Hope everyone’s killing it out there, gonna try to muscle some events saturday!!!

Accessory day?
Worked on jerk form…which I’m awful at.
Band assisted pull ups…big ass band and I’m awful at these.
Banded biceps and triceps to get some blood in them so hopefully I don’t feel beat up for Saturday.

Again, my main concern was getting blood in my left bicep b/c of the issues I’ve been having with it. I can’t wait to train events on Saturday. Maybe I’ll start training my biceps more and my pull ups. Maybe I’ll be able to do a pull up at 300+ someday? lol

played with the circus DB for singles
farmers-170 per hand, 1st set for distance, about 150ft no drops, 2nd set 100ft, one drop to turn,
stones-shouldered the 175 a few times, tried to shoulder the 240 twice but couldnt get it high enough

really beat to fuck right now and feeling fucking horrible, strongman makes me feel like a fucking bitch :frowning:

Circus db. Only did two singles, shoulder felt off.
Farmers: trip 1: 150’ no drops. Trip 2: 100’. 50 down, 50 back. 1 drop at the turn.
Stones, 175 for a couple. 240 but not shouldered.

Just really fatigued but, happy with training nonetheless. Can’t wait to get stronger. This deload will be great lol

Ive not been keeping tabs with this forum as much as I should, so some of the post on here came as a pleasent surprise. Id love to have spidey, and/or spartee drop by ky some time to train with us. We all work hard, an it makes me feel honored to have other compliment us on our hard work. I still have a long ways to go to even be considered strong, but I love every second I spend in the gym training with PC, mosley and godfather.

Circus DB is out of my league right now, but I attempted it anyways (failed miserably)
Farmers trip 1; approx 85’ no drops
trip 2 50’ down, then 50’ back, dropped handles to turn around.
Stones 175 for 4

Fun fact for anyone that cares:
Found out the hard way that I’m allergic to kerosene heaters…you know, the one we already have that was heating the gym today…yup. Fuck.

Overall feel pretty good, bodyweight is down and appetite is shit, feeling really drowsy and weird and dizzy bc i started taking paxil an anti-anxiety drug and anti-depressant, hopefully it lines itself out, pretty happy to be back training after the deload week, i think the micro mini’s doubled added at least 30lbs at top maybe more not sure though, proud of everyone, especially mosley, hes fucking killing it, and he closed the COC #3 gripper last night that was awesome!!! everyone keep kicking ass!

Great day of training. I’ve missed training this past week since we were deloading. Everyone did really well today! Very happy with our training day. I hate that my bench is now turning into my favorite lift and that’s only because it’s the only one that seems to be progressing. I think the others will start moving again soon enough, just gotta try to make the best of things. I need to work on getting the bar down b/c it’s pretty pathetic how slow my negative is. Anyhow, very happy with everyone! Everyone is working hard and killing it! PC, you’re far too kind!

I’m happy with my pulls even though I’m still not back to where I was. It will come in time, though. Everyone did well and did what they needed to do. I believe we all despise any deadlift or squat day at this point in time lol. I know I would much rather do events or bench (never thought I’d say I’d rather bench than do anything.) I just want to get back to where I was, before the injury, by Christmas. That’s all I ask lol

i fucking hate how my squat and deadlift are right now, i cant understand why im having trouble getting anything off the ground? Just keep working i suppose, its depressing that i suck so fucking bad at DL i had planned to pull around 585 by xmas this year but that doesnt seem realistic anymore, idk back to the drawing board i guess, very proud of everyone though, working really hard and mosley is still kicking ass!!! very proud!
