I thought it was one of the better ones and I think they’re definitely going in the right direction with putting more comic book heroes together with Clark.
I missed the first 10 minutes though. I’m going to look for it on youtube or peekvid in a couple of days to see if anyone uploaded it.
Yea, and any episode with Erica Durance (Lois), is a good one.
I saw this, and actually signed on here to start a thread about it, but yeah, i really hope that they continue on with this story line, i think i might bring back some of the original fans, i know i hadnt followed the show all that closely in the last 2 seasons, and this seriously made me think about getting back into this show.
Honestly, I thought tonight’s was pretty average overall. Last week’s, however, was the best in a very long time, especially the Lois/Oliver/Green Arrow subplot.

Yea, I stopped watching during the season when Lona was a witch or something. I couldn’t stand her acting.
I think her character, along with the Chloe of the first few seasons. I think she got a little better lately though, but the chick who plays Lona is still anoying to me.
Then I think it got a lot better last season, but I missed a lot of this season’s episodes.
This is the way comics should be in the 2000. Smallville is redefining the genre and I love it. Just finished watching today’s episode, and I’m thrilled about the next week’s. Can somebody say Justice League debut?
Some day, I’ll have to spill the dough to get that whole serie.

They kind of gave themselves an out to continue on without the justice league when Clark said he had other business to take care of first. It could take many weeks for them to get back together, if that.
I agree that the whole “Lana’s a witch” season was mediocre, but I’ll never get over how incredible she looked (and continues to look) in every damn scene. Lois is intermittently attractive, but most of the time her face kinda bothers me, especially close up.
This season has been rough, but the writing is picking up a bit. This episode was pretty cheesy, but it wasn’t bad. Lana was missing though, which means it wasn’t good either. And Aquaman is somehow worse than your average soap actor.
I wish they could have had a Batman and Wonder Woman character. I know they’re bringing in the Martian Manhunter in a couple of episodes…should be cool.

Considering the popularity and the fact that they are working on a Wonder Woman movie right now, they would have to get the casting so perfect that may be why they have avoided it. They haven’t even hinted at Batman’s existance, have they? They gave hints to Green Arrow in the very first pilot episode of the show years ago.

POSSIBLE SPOILER
they’ve already had martian manhunter albeit for a couple of seconds in the Static episode. so, yeah he’s probably gonna make a comeback pretty soon.

Vaguely remember seeing a commercial where there was a Green Arrow…haven’t seen the actual show in awhile so could be wrong though

Funny, I think Chloe is the hottest of the bunch. OMG that smile! Erica Durance definately takes the nod for the bod.
I was at the gym and missed all but the last 15 minutes, but it looked like a great episode. I only watch a few hours of TV a week, but Smallville has always ranked way up there for me. They’ve done amazing things with the storyline - such that as a fanboy I’ve totally forgiven then for going way outside the comic.
I’m with Aikigreg, Chloe is the hottest of them all.
But seriously SWR, don’t you think they’re setting things for a spin off? JL jr or something like that. Plus, I caught the Green Arrow special commercial, what’s up with that, story arc in Smallville, special episodes, like a short story, or a new show?
Plus, with all the possibilities they’ve given themselves with the characters, they could come up with some pretty nifty shows and associated series. The trick is to have a good writing team.

I know they tried to get an episode a couple of years ago with Bruce Wayne taking on Lex in some sort of business battle, but DC wouldn’t give WB the rights to the character.
I find the people who mention Batman in Smallville funny because the original concept for this series wasn’t Clark but the Bat, it was supposed to follow young Bruce Wayne as he trains to become the World’s greatest detective
Oh Crap, I wanted to see that. I was suppose to go to Norman but my workshop was cancelled. Then with the changing of plans I forgot all about it. The beginning of the Justice League.
