I remember the days when kids use to read comic books to keep themselves entertained. I can’t imagine having an xbox at the age of six. Technology has provided the every day kid with a means of enjoying every minute of the day without using their imagination. I suppose to an extent I can speak for some people growing up in the 70’s and 80’s that it was the best thing ever to unwrap a brand new comic.
Hellblazer is one of the greatest comics ever, although I’ll admit it started sucking pretty hard after Garth Ennis left. Jamie Delano tried… and failed.
Preacher IS the greatest comic ever. I have no doubt that if Jesse Custer was a real person, he would recieve all votes for ‘T-man of the year, circa 1997’
I used to work for Wildstorm comics with Jim Lee when he took over the X-Men and the renewal of the Fantastic Four. They did Gen-13, DV-8, Wildcats… BRASS… others.
That was pretty cool I must have 4000 comics now.
I also have all my brothers old comic books from when he left home and gave them to me. They were cover price of $0.25 and are Spiderman, X-Men and Avengers mostly.
I keep thinking I need to sell those things.
Todd McFarlane gave me a set of his Spawn figurines. Those I gave away… I am an idiot.

Looks more than a little like Jack Doe to me if anyone remembers him?

See, I knew you were pretty much the awesomest chick ever.
Except you don’t say the “C” word. But I forgive you, because you know who Tod McFarlane and Jim Lee are.

Gracias Neph!
My favorite comics are X-Men, Warlord (does anyone else remember that one?), Tigra, Witchblade, DarkChylde, and the What-Ifs.

I was just telling someone that Preacher was HOT! there is a panel in a comic where he is going down on his girlfriend… very hot.
