Small Training Tips You Wont Find In Articles

Another tip related to lateral raises either w/ cables or DBS, don’t grip the weight very tightly. I find I looser grip, just enough to hold it in your hand and pause at the top for a second hits the medial delt much better.

Biceps work will be a lot easier after deadlifting. Do them first, cold, and it’s hard for me to curl the 50s…after deads I can curl 65s.
Stangely this occured to me during squating also. I was quite surprised when I had a PR for my bench after a squat session. Granted I was going low rep (but high sets) on squating and isnt going for a max but still

Maybe it could be due to my squating position (shoulders also pulled back and tight, traps and upper back flexed ass out, quite similiar to bench set up.

Lying leg curls.

Use the one that has a downslope from your waist down to your feet. This stretches the hamstrings from it’s resting point to allow greater tension to be produced and being worked more.
Or you could lean forward on a sitted leg curl machine.

I can close a #3CoC gripper after squats. That’s the only time I can close it.
