Has anyone tried to determine if any of there muscles are predominantly fast or slow twitch? If so, what test did you use? I know certain muscles are usually a certain fiber type such as hamstrings being fast twitch. I was curious about testing other muscle groups such as arms and shoulders.
If you find your 1RM then see how many reps you could do at 80%, I wonder if that would tell you. The average person should be able to do about 7 reps but a fast twitch person would maybe only be able to do 2 or 3 reps.
Any input would be great!
