All the descriptions of form for Single leg deadlift I see have you lower the weight until it’s just below your knees. I’m flexible enough to drop the weight all the way down to the floor - anyone see a problem with this?
Aikigreg, are you working stiff-leg single leg deadlifts, or just single leg deadlifts?
DOH! I meant to type stiff legged-deadlifts - not single leg deads. What a maroon!
No problem. I used to do the stiff-leg deadlift with a straight back and touch the bar to my shoes. I’ve never had a problem, and I’ve done them pretty darn heavy (315 x 8). I grew up on a farm, so I’ve always had strong hamstrings and lower back. =)
