That’s why I’m taking my dad to meet the CEO (she’s coming to Shanghai) to discuss a possible investment opportunity

At a glance it’s cute and involves winning coins, so Brilliant!

I might give it a shot.

Please do! the official launch is in a few weeks!

Mine are the same. They ask to try anything, but the novelty wears off before it actually reaches their mouth.

I like the idea.

Devils advocate question time: how can you be sure that the food on the plate gets eaten? Putting food on a kids plate is easy, getting it eaten is a whole different kettle of fish.

good question I can bring up at the meeting

I’ve watched a few times when he has asked for something. I get really excited and cook it up, plate it, and hand it to him. Then he takes a fork full and as it moves toward his mouth the spell breaks. His sanity returns. He puts the fork down and says “Dad. Um, I didn’t mean to ask you for this. Can I just have a hotdog instead?”.
:joy:

Mines exactly the same, except less eloquant. It’s all “I have some. Have some” until about 2cm out from his mouth, then its “yuk”

He says to perfectly broiled chicken tenders and black trumpets.

:joy: :joy: :joy:

No kidding.

What’s the sauce?

That was sautéed black trumpets, browned flour, and chicken broth gravy.

Had to say goodbye to Puppy Wuppy today. She was a great and loyal companion, protector, and all around good dog. We got her a month after I met my wife, 16 years ago.

Had to blow the dust off and get moving.

Airdyne: easy ride, 35-45 for 20 min.

Picked it up a little for the last 10 @ 45-55 rpm.

Felt good.More later. Probably goblets or front squats.

Thanks. Until a couple of years ago we did everything together.

She was. Having my son kind of gave her a new purpose and energy. From the moment we brought him home, he was her kid.

He’s a bit sad about it too, but he also just remembers all of the good stuff.

I bet it was a good 16 years. Sorry for your loss

Got in a 5 mile ride, averaged 4.5 min. miles. Nothing remarkable, just getting it in.

Have you looked into the Gibala book yet?

Kind of. I’m going to try to get one from the library. I guess they have a copy but I tried to get the libby app to use it and a lot of confusion ensued. I’m not in a great position to get any new tech things at this point.
