SkyzykS's Keep Hitting It Until It Works Again Log

I know Exactly how much shit you could tear up with that! With carbide cutters, 50 diesel hp. And soft tracks you could drive up a wall with!

Actually, the stump grinder does an awesome job tilling. You could turn over the garden into fine, beautifully aerated soil in no time. (it has been done a couple of times)

Or did you mean the mini? That thing is also a beast.

Where is it when I need it? I am tilling today.
Either one, I’m sure I could do damage with both.

Wow, Ya’all’re working hard today!

Me? I’ll work out, get some lunch, take a nap.

I’m gonna take this as sound advice and run with it.

Simple, but one of my favorite things.

Not really fit for food porn, but just really hits the spot.

Some stuff from the backyard strongman day (Saturday).

Kid with chainsaw (edited neighbors face.)

Dad (me) with log:

Cool kid being awesome:

A little Mario bros. “parkour” thing I put together out of firewood/logs this evening while we were playing:

Kids just goofing and having fun:

And the most insanely fast, athletic/acrobatic I don’t even know how to describe-like Travis Pastrana with fur, he’s nuts-doggy.

And smores with campfire.

I don’t see the Smores but I see a chainsaw on the kid. Haha

The happydog! is standing in front of the smores supply station because he knows what’s good.

No way I could handle phone and smores simultaneously without gooping up the phone really bad.

More backyard strongman stuff, but someone else’s backyard this time.

So, I got 3 out of 4 of them. They’re like 40 some, maybe 50 in. chunks of silver maple. Was straight up dead by the 4th one.

So that was my thing for the day.

Ok, back to cardio. Guess I just had to suck for a little while until I got tired of it.

6.2 miles in 22:02.

Heading out to probably hit the weights and even more likely get distracted and play with happydog. :point_left: Much more likely.

Thought the sky looked nice tonight.

Just keeping things moving.

Warmed up for 5 min, 1.1 miles.

Riding now. @ 7.1 miles in 24:25 minutes. Cooling down.

Last 10 minutes done to this-

Like being played at by Cenobites. It ain’t no peleton, that’s for sure!

Just cooling down slowly using the fan at a leisurely pace.

Did a hodgepodge tonight.

Deadlifts 6 sets of 3 reps @ 135 (fast)

Stiff legs, 3 sets of 6 reps @ 155 (fast)

Curls-6 sets of 12 @ 50 lbs. (between sets of deads.

Delt raises, 3 sets of side and rear drop sets with 20 & 10 lbs.

Tricep kickbacks, 3 sets of drop sets w/ 20 & 10 lbs.

And then some electrical contractor ran over my neighbors basketball hoop that a couple of kids were playing on literally seconds before. I saw it and just about panicked, ran down to see if the kids were ok, and they were.

We spoke briefly but I didn’t care what the guy was saying and told him as much, then ended the conversation before there was any real problems.

I’m a bit panicy sometimes and this was one of them. Everything is ok and that was a good lifting session.

Easy ride, 5.something miles in like 25 minutes.

Twas all good. Today was a cool, grey sleepy day, but have to get up and get moving sometimes.

Felt like crap for a few days. Got vaccinated Tuesday, felt good. Wed. Thurs. were crap and coming out of it today.

Anyhoo, took my own advice and did a set of 10 pushups during the commercial breaks while watching John Wick.

Great movie. Nothing better than a story about a boy and his dog.

Did about 80 pushups.

Did the vax take the wind out your sails @SkyzykS my man

That only means your immune system is fit as fuck!

At least that’s what I told myself :joy:

It did! To a surprising degree. I just had absolutely nothing to put out.

Feeling good now though. Was a little cranky on the pushups. Instead of finding the hand position that makes them a challenge I was using the one that I’m best in.

Well, probably won’t have much to post about lifting or airdyneing for a while. Yesterday after the angina kept getting worse I called my doc. He said to come in and they kept me. I did a stress/echo this morning and they’re scheduling me for a catheterization either this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

So we’ll see how that goes and what’s next.
