Yeah, I’ll be ok. I’m in good hands, and this should actually provide some relief. I’ve been getting chest pain and whatnot for a good while now and just biting the bullet, so it might be nice to not have to do that, or feel like I’m living with a ticking time bomb in my chest. That’s the part that really sucks in a complex assembly of other parts that also suck.
Doh! Oh well, probably best for your heart rate any way.
Have not written much on your log, but read along from time to time. You are one of of those guys here on TN, that really inspires me. When some small problem arises, making me consider slacking, I sometimes think: “If guys like Skyzyks can get his training in, overcoming obstacles like those he is dealing with - I damn well can overcome my own (very) minor complaints as well.”
Hope they will get you on right keel soon - best wishes from half a world away.
Dude. That IS setting the bar high. Most people - heart issues or not - leave the bar on the ground and go sit on the couch. If I were your kid or wife, I’d be proud. I mean, I’m just your internet friend, and I’m proud that you keep pushing forward!
I’m hoping this will be the last scare and you can get back to your life.
He did it! Doc got the stuff cleared and stent in!
I feel pretty good already too, but that could also be the fentanyl.
Oh, and I didn’t want to forget-how are you?
And Buttons?!?
I couldn’t just leave this hang. You have your own shelf in my fridge! That’s pretty big!
I can’t express (without getting wierd) how much the kindness and support mean. It may be all flappy and reinforced with adamantium stents, but my heart is brimming with gratitude for all of you.
I’d try to get a couple of selfies with the nurse too but I don’t want people to start eating crisco and sucking down maduros to get in.
Pretty sure I’ll be going home tomorrow. Feeling pretty damn good actually. I know there will be some restrictions for a little while, but no joke, I could hit the airdyne right now with no hesitation.
As much as I love CMU, I can’t wait to graduate so I can get out of the horrid weather. I swear if I had visited, I would definitely not applied- sometimes ignorance is bliss
Feeling a little puffy after laying around for a couple of days, so 5 laps of the hallway. There’s really no good place or way to do anything at this point, but I don’t like convalescence either.
