It’s like everyone is down in the dumps these last few days. Maybe it is sympathy Covid-19.
Eh, maybe.
I have a 7 year old first grader though too, so it could be some aggregate or hybrid of any number of pandemics. It could be the bubonic ebola 19 for all I know.
I’m going to do a couple shots of albuterol though. I was trying to sleep for a few hrs. but that was futile.
Spinach and cheese with tomato basil burger. About 3/4 lb. burger.
Stuff got out of hand. It just did. I was watching Guy Fieri and things were OK, till they weren’t.
I’ve always liked using tomato sauces as a condiment. Lots of variety and flavor. ![]()
Haven’t posted much because I haven’t done much. Just some typical pumpy stuff and regular riding as able. Nothing worth writing home about.
I have a doc’s. appointment for Thursday. Been having a lot of angina like a few months ago. That has had me a bit down and lacking enthusiasm.
Sorry to hear that…I hope you get sorted out good!
Check up was so-so.
Will be doing a stress test Monday.
Yesterday I was literally dead exhausted but couldn’t sleep, then like a damn breaking loose I whizzed about 10 lbs of water. Felt like crap all night, then got up today feeling like perfectly normal.
This morning-- pumpy stuff.
Drop sets, all to failure: ohp (60 lbs./20 reps, 20 lb. dumbbell 18 reps, 10lb. dumbbell 8 reps.) X 3
Same with curls.
Keep your chin up. Things will get better as you and your medical team continue to learn your body’s responses to various stimuli.
I know you know that, but it bears frequent repetition. You WILL stabilize.
Thank you. And thanks for the reminder. Sometimes it only takes a couple of bad days to forget all of the good ones, and I have had many good ones.
Today is pretty good. I’m sure I can do something with it.
There’s always posting cat pics. My thoughtful little super predator Grey-Grey.
Nothing cheers me up like watching her stalk and successfully subdue a nerf dart.

You can’t actually study for a stress test, can you? ![]()
Cooling down.
Went about 9 miles. Good enough. I like to get a minimum 12 mph average, and that came in right at the line.
Have you tried cramming? ![]()
No. I leave the seat On the bike.

If this isn’t a movie reference or something, that’s gotta be one of the most random places to go when given the word “cramming.”
That’s the only way I could think of cramming applying to my cardio regiment.
It could be way worse. I’ve erased/redone these responses like 5 times already before I hit “reply”.
Haven’t done a whole lot lately. Bike riding just for fun on Sunday because it was beautiful outside.
I did a couple of sprints up the hill, but took it easyish as I didn’t want to go in tired/exhausted.
Stress test/echo on Monday. That was really pretty strange. It was harder than anybody expected to get my heart rate up to 148 bpm, which was great! I guess all of the valves, structures, and nerve signals are “in perfect shape, as good as anything can be.”. So I dunno. Very happy about that. Still wondering about the symptoms and stuff, but oh well.
Today was more riding bike with kiddo. He’s really digging it this year. I’m loving that too.
Haven’t had much to say lately. At least progress/lifting/logging wise.
That head game got me down. I was just physically tired and emotionally drained. I’m one emo mother fu…
sometimes.
(this might get gross)
So a couple of days ago I started coughing a little. A little bit productive. Then Saturday a lot. And yesterday a lot more. Then that ice pick through the chest feeling went away, and it felt like I was blowing up a balloon from the outside of my ribcage inward. Now I only have a dull thud in my right mid back and feel like I can run a marathon. Going to chill and see how this pans out, but I’m optimistic.
Appetite returned with a vengeance yesterday and last night too. Probably ate as much between 6:00 and midnight that the entire previous week.
So I haven’t been documenting much because all I’ve been doing is unstructured bike riding with muh kiddo.
Motivation has been down, things have been a bit chaotic etc.
So tonight I rode the airdyne. Did a 10 min. warm up then rode for 25 minutes at 50+. It felt good but I just had a vague sense of lacking or set back.
Egh. We’ll see how things go. Stuff is just weird right now. This hasn’t become the new normal just yet.
Hey take care man. Strange times we live in. Hopefully there aren’t any cases in your place
