Skye Log

Training- switched it up abit…more endurance-type.

Body weight everything.

Prisoner squats- 50
Wall sits 1 minute each 3 total-total agony.
Jump lunges- 20 each leg
lateral lunges- 20 each legs
reverse crunches- 50
bicycle crunches-50
V-ups -15

2 rounds.

50-rep squats??

Followed by 3 1-min wall sits??!!

Followed by all the rest of that craziness?!

You’re a machine!

How’d your abs hold up through all that?

ooh wall sits!! gonna add those today, THANKS!!

Ouch. That workout sounds painful. Yet another squat I’m not familiar with . . . prisoner squat. I’m so vanilla regarding lifting.

oh my…i have yet to watch the dancing with the stars show, but kate gosslin’s hair just amazes me. i don’t understand how white girls think all hair extensions are NOT HORRIBLY obvious on them. but i do feel bad for her since her ex is such a dork

Prisoner squat = bodyweight squat with your hands held behind your head, as if you’re a ‘prisoner’.

Freaking love it! That sounds hellish, yet oh so good (much like Kate Gosselin’s dancing - hilarious btw).

Brutal workout skye! You are ridiculous! (in a good way of course!)

BTW: what kinda bra do you wear? Jump lunges and other plyos hurt my boobies…

Rachelle, the wall sits are brutal!
Probably worse than the ab stuff.
Ab stuff is ok until about rep 38…then it all goes to shit…

Sindie- I agree, her extensions are horrendous. But not as bad as the ones Britney Spears was sporting after she went postal…shudder

MIM- you’re welcome. Have fun with that

Masch- I’m soo sad she got voted off Monday night TV won’t be the same. I honestly think douchy John is enjoying watching her humiliate herself since she seems like such a control freak.

Molly- I try to stay away from those ‘special’ bras with the cups and all that coz I end up getting spillage:-P
I just wear the plain old Nike ones…just squish everything in there. Squished means they stay in place and away from my line of vision :-H

Training…

Ran 2 miles yesterday…I didn’t have alot of time and the gym was jam-packed.

warm up

rep work

Flat bench DB press:
25 x 10
3 x 8(30)

Lat pulldowns
3 x 15(70)

Incline DB Bench:
4 x 6(30)

Cable rows:
4 x 10(70)

Military press
4 x 10(20)

Rope curls
3 x 12(50)

Lateral raises
3 x 12(10)

DB Pullovers:
3 x 10(30)

Wall sits are the most painful thing EVER.

That was some sick volume on that last training. My arms hurt just reading it.

You must literally have abs of steel.

I second kimba, that volume in your last workout is ridic. In a good way!

can I touch your bicep? your amrs must be toast after that workout.

solid training here as usual woman! you guys make it hard for me to go post my recent crap workouts…

you say spillage like it’s a bad thing…

i’m sure they are in someone’s line of vision if not yours…

Great stuff Skye, that is indeed a lot of rep work!

Thank you, kind ladies. It’s not alot if you’re supersetting them…I just didn’t right it out that way. I was out of the gym in exactly an hour…

T-you crack me up!! From now on, I’ll wear 2 sports bras, make them non-existent.

Today went for a class with one of my friends, martial arts based worked, mainly tae-kwon do.
Just for today it was strictly kicks…ouch! I’m kind of digging it…

Training- active off day.

Ran hill sprints with the puppy then came home and did tabata thrusters and snatches.

That sounds so wrong.

Wow… I slept until 3 pm, then took two naps between 3:30 and 8:30… then gorged myself on sushi, crab cakes, and a giant cheeseburger… you are making me feel badly about “active off” day! hahahahahahaha!

Oh yeah… awesome work! =D
