Trained today with my old MT trainer, John even though he teaches BJJ exclusively now.

Lots of high rep stuff, I was sucking wind sooner than I expected. I’ll be doing this once a week in place of a metabolic workout. The problem I’ve had in the past has been dropping muscle so I’ll have to stock up on Xtend or drink a shake during…

Skye, that bench is coming along! Good on you for pushing on something I know you don’t really like.

I definitely try to stay away from all sugar, but will go for real sugar if I do indulge. Anything with HFCS doesn’t go down my gullet.

front squat warm up working up to 95 x 5

then pause squats 8 x 3(115)

Then lots of other accessory stuff.

I’d just come from club where we were practicing kinesiotaping the upper extremities so I had tape on me and it was weird and uncomfortable. I just wanted to get out as soon as I could. I get enough weird looks as it is doing pause squats. Imagine doing pause squats with pink tape running up your neck and arms…sigh.
