you might even want to warm up with a front squat to teach you to sit up tall and drive chest up

get a good power belt pushing out on it will help you big time getting out of the bottom…

drag sled push a car to help build leg strength

you look great  awesome athletic body

keep up the hard work … that big squat is closer that u think
Last workout, I did front squats as part of my accessory work…gave my quads a good wake up call. I like them because they get that mind-muscle connection going. Using them for warm up would not be a bad idea.

Thanks again, Jim!!
your welcome … you could do some front squats with some glute activation exercises in between warm up sets to get everything ready to go …

Will do. I’ll keep working on the back exercises. I have my pull up bar in m doorway such that I do a couple of chins every time I go through that particular door. Of course, there are some days I totally ignore it

Good stay on that mix your back training up. Some high rep some less with more weight.

Make sure you are squeezing and pulling with your back and
scaps … It’s easy to get carried away and pull with the wrong things. The body is amazing at this

Have a great day

Jim

You and you’re long legs, damn! I’m taking notes - looking good! Thanks for the vid Skye.

oh no worries, Masch. Im open to critique as well…

Jim, ill do that next rep workout. ill go heavy…maybe 8-10 rep range?
I definately feel stronger in that i can go heavier…thats very encouraging.

Awesome work!!!

great to see you Skye! thanks for video-i’m always learning from everyone that posts them. keep up your hard work, your intensity is inspiring and i love that.

My ass hurts.

Skye, loved the video – those are good looking squats.

I am certainly implementing the paused pull-throughs. No wonder your ass hurts!

Btw I got the pause wrong it is 3 sesonds down 1 at bottom 2 at top. But it really doesn’t matter as long as the butt is working …

I like to do first two sets with the tempo the last set with only pause at top …

Back to bowling …

Ya, butt’s working…
I beat that sleepy left glute into submission, x-band walked all around the gym.

I’ll do the pull-throughs the right way the next time.

your loss.

Switched it up a little today…

Pushed my friend’s Echo in the parking lot today.

Put it in ‘neutral’ released the hand brake and we were off.

The first few steps are the hardest, then after that you’re on a roll. Next time we’re gonna experiment in a different lot…much bigger.

Car push x 5 rounds, about 50 yards, back and forth…then it started to rain.

I need to look around, maybe on EliteFTS to see if I can find a harness rig onto the front to drag it.
Any ideas?

My ass is gonna really hurt…my calves and shoulders are complaining already.

Nice work … Yes elite has stuff like that …

You could also get an old tire punch a hole in it pull a rope through the hole tie a knot in the end.
Drag it around, you can put 45’s on it as well. It is a total bitch on pavement and grass.

Find some people to sit in car  or a slight incline
Keep up the hard work

Jim

Yeah, we took turns sitting in the car. Initially, we were worried about it being too heavy, not the case. Is it better to get into rythmn and keep it at a certain pace? because as you get going, you pick up momentum and i’m thinking faster wouldn’t necessarily bet better, right?

Elite has a harness but its not recommended if you weigh below 165…don’t know if that was tongue-in-cheek :stuck_out_tongue:

They have the straps, coupled with a belt…good to go.

I need to keep an eye out on craigslist for 45s…at last count, I dragged 265lbs+ on the sled.
need.more.plates.

I can’t believe I’m hoping the Vikings win…but I am.
I need my faith restored in the NFC…

I think I have my first girl crush!
