I’ll trade u 4 pizza rolls for a cookie
The leg press anahilated my left knee after the first set, so I called it a day.

I’m gonna eat cookies, lots of them.
dude, the leg press is nice but i think i have an odd angeled on because it hurts my lower back the next day --which scares the crap out of me. i wish it didn’t though. oh well.

I have a jumbo bag of pizza rolls in my freezer, it’s 2:40am and I am going to EAT THEM ALLLL!!!

I’ve eaten a bag of 40, decided it wasnt enough, and gone back to the store for another 40.

well done on the pizza roll annihilation.

Oooh pizza rolls, deal. I’ll even throw in a juice box.

Claire, why didn’t you start a book club here?
Just wonderin…

Try keeping your butt/pelvis from lifting when your knees come to your chest. Kind of like not letting your back round when squatting.
But I agree…I hate the leg press, I’m gonna try step ups instead for a little while and see how that works.

The amount of “stick it in her pooper”.

Some sick part of me feels the need to keep trying on FA. I learned a lot over there and I still feel a lil obligated. I’m sure it will die soon.

excellent dead lifts! you’re smokin em.

and… word i’ll definitely try that the next time i am not afraid to use the leg press. also i feel like i’m about to have a hernia on that thing, like my diaghram gets all crushed and moy organs all all squashed…but i do think i might not be up against the seat enough.

I understand…muscle sorority crossed my mind, but then again there may not be that big of an audience. I’m itching to join and unleash my inner nerd but I don’t have the Kilojoules to go across.

I just finished an excellent book, Moloka’i by Alan Brennert. Heartache and leprosy, FTW…
It’s gonna be a while before I pick up another book.
School’s about to start, anyway.

hey…if you wanna nerd out i’d really appreciate and suggestions for good book. i was just looking for crap to read the other day, and still am. i’m usually a wizard/vampire/werewolves/occult fiction chick but i myself had teary oprah moments ready any wally lamb book.

you going to school? what are you studing?

Oohh, nice to meet you, fellow nerd!!
I haven’t quite caught onto the current vampire craze but Anne Rice is QUEEN in my book(I’m ol’ school)!! I read the Vampire Chroncles and the Mayfair Witches(made me look at New Orleans in a whole new light!)
I read a few mainstream hyped up books which turned out to be really good like The Red Tent which, even though is set in biblical times, was pretty darn good.
The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, excellent reads.
Duma Key by Stephen King…I’m a Stephen King whore…lol. I 'll read anything the man writes.
I had borrowed After The Sunset, but I got derailed and never finished it.
Okay, enough nerding for now…
Any recommendations?

EDIT: Yeah, I’m in school for Chiropractic/Nutrition.

x2

just please don’t watch the movie. it’ll infuriate you.

The book club on FA (to which you are all invited. leave sand at door. I am.) is reading “The Tao of Pooh”, and I REALLY like Musashi’s “The Five Rings”

and everything I’ve read of Chuck Pahlinuck. (think, Fight Club. although, i havent read that book. I dont want to hate the movie)

word! nerding out!!

i read all the anne rice stuff too, i prefer the Mayfair witches to the later vampire chronicles, and i agree about the whole new orleans thing, way cool. she has this one about the old testament that i’ve yet to read. completely avoid the twilight books unless they are free and you have absolutely nothing left to read. its total emo teenage loved up stuff.

i’m going to have to get into stephan king more, i like how he has so many books, i’ve only read three or four i think of his stuff–but only the ones that were made into films.

i’d highly recommend for fun readin the sookie stackhouse books by charlaine harris–they aren’t as intense, more light i guess then the anne rice ones, but i really dig them, True Blood is a great show too. anything by jim butcher is way cool too-- the harry dresden files. kat richardson, david wellington has really cool zombie books. charlie huston is ok too.

i read rent tent too, it was good  i’ve read chuck pahlinuck too, he’s got quite a few books. but he’s good to read to mix up your genres–i’m so geeked out i know… i’ll have to check out the kite runner ones —WORD! thanks, now i have some entertainment for a few days :stuck_out_tongue:

and WHOA! chiropatic and nutriton majors? that’s a good thing to do, you’ll never be out of work, impressive too

No sand?! Damn…

empties her duffel

I have the day off tomorrow, Borders…here I come. I still have one more week to nerd out.

I agree, movies are such disappointments. I learnt a long time ago to just. read. the. damn. book.
I can’t believe they made a movie of “Where The Wild Things Are”. So disappointed.
