I believe my version of her update involves a lot more of ME than hers would. i’ll give u g-rated.

she’s working a shit ton of hours at like 4 different jobs (shes not Jamaican… i think), spending time with her bf, and going to 2 or 3 bday dinners a week. the bday dinners started with hers, (3 in a week) then her bf, then other friends.

it’s really a huge crazy mess. but she’s happy and getting things done. oh and she still makes time to hang out with me when i come down there. thats really all that matters, of course!! :slight_smile:

As long as she’s a happy Jamaican and not frying her thyroid and adrenals in the same pan…it’s all good.

So, I decided I’m not going to use the 5 3 1 format for upper body. Of course, there is always room to improve in my upper body strength but as I have been under tremendous stress the past three weeks,my training and diet has not been up to par. The first place I noticed a loss of mass was in my legs…sucks because I’ve worked so hard to build any…So lower body is priority for me.
That may come back and bite me in the ass later on…oh well.

Yesterday’s upper body training

Chins 5 x 5

Cable flyes 3 x 8

Cable rows 3 x 8

Push ups 3 x 10

Straight arm pulldowns 3 x 8

Dips 3 x 8

Today 100s

warm up: 15 x jumping jacks, pat jacks, crossovers
10 x prison squats, mountain climbers

1 x 5 (65-warm up set)

5 x 4 (75lbs emphasis on the eccentric 6secs down, explode up)
I had to leave one in the hole…my core is weak as fuck and my shoulders gave out before my legs)

Negative Front squats:

5 x 4 (95lbs 8-0-1 tempo)

SL Hack squats:

5 x 5 (20lbs 6-0-1)

Box squats:
1 x 20(95lbs 6-0-1)

SL Hyperextensions:

5 x 5(25lbs 6-0-1)

Single leg curls:

My allergy test is next week and I get the results back in 4-6 weeks. I have a couple of out-of-town weddings in the next few weeks so I will be busy with those…

Hey there! Umm… there is NO smoke being blown up your ass (that costs extra ;D)… Yeah I DL in the 300’s but a ROMANIAN DEADLIFT? That’s another story! (Unless RDL stands for regular deadlift in your log…?) Either way it’s a freakin’ good lift! Especially since I weight 2x as much as you!

Nuh uh…they are RDLs. Stop mid-shin and pull, right? I have them to thank for any semblance of an ass and hammies. What I like about them is they dont put as much stress on my lower back. I have an grade 4 spondylolisthesis at L5 so I have to be EXTRA careful.

My form gets preeetty shitty sometimes pulling conventional, which puts my back out of commission for days and sumo does a number on my right knee.
