Rope tri ext: 3x7(25)
Rope curls: 3x7(25) I was too lazy to go work the DBs…and there was this little group hoarding benches and whatnots at the weight area for shrugs.
Sprinter sit-ups 3x18
Hanging leg raises: 18, 15, 12
We definately worked on getting the down today. Standing with shins against the bar, very wide stance, serious back arch and making sure the bar comes to rest on the floor.
In between, I did a cambered bar rotator cuff exercise. Not sure what it’s called but
3 x 10(10)
Sled work:
Forward sled drags:
60 x 1
105 x 1
Sideways sled drags
60 x 1
105 x 1
Heavy sled work
Forward drag:
Jeff(he says he’s 210, I doubt it) + 60lbs x 1/2 (I crapped out halfway, not sure why…I’ve dragged him before and still had enough gas in the tank for another three sets)
Backward sled drag:
Jeff + 45 x 1/2
Last set:
Forward: Jeff + 45 x 1
Backward: Jeff + 45 x 1
Some days you suck, some days you dont.
Today, I sucked.
Took yesterday off. Today I get to the gym and everyone and their mama was in the gym. I didn’t want to take another day off in a row so I did a quick metabolic workout which is also the last part of today’s workout.
ugh. i did the same thing yesterday…wasted a drive to the gym to only be all out of steam and worthless! good job on saving the workout though–not i, i just ran out

I hate Mondays for that reason. Everyone is trying to purge their weekend sins, me included
Ran Tabata sprints early this morning then headed back to the gym in the evening to do work on my chins 3x5.
I lost all the hard work I put in earlier on this year. New goal: 5 unassisted chins. Today’s article came at a perfect time because I want HYOOOOGE lats.
right on! i want big lats too, and perky chest as well! and i have a pull up goal for five too. chins i can do maybe four…but i wanna do pullups! i got two now…lame but word!
do you find you need rest days between? maybe i’m just doing them at the wrong time, because i do wait until the later part of my workouts to do em , but i find i can only do them every other day for the most part. wierd.

good work on the overhead squats too :)
I find doing them first thing when I’m fresh works better. It’s a good pre-exhaustion exercise for upper body…so said my best friend. I try to do them everyday, even if it’s just negatives. It counts for something… I loved the back article they have on here. Makes me wanna do some rack pulls, or try out some of those iso-hold exercises.
So I hyperexetended my right knee late last week and it has been bothering me some. I had to lay off any training up till today. I tried not to go too heavy.
Today’s workout:
Chins(assisted): 5,5(wide), 5,5, 6
Front squats 5 x 5(95)
Standing DB shoulder press: 5 x 5(20)
Rack pulls: 135 x 5, 185 x 5, 205 x 5, 225 x 5, 245 x 5

N, hitting your knee with a sledgehammer will not “take care of it.” The guy who owes you money, yes. Your 2nd largest joint, probably not.
But really. All up to you.
Thanks, Claire.
You know you’re wasting your talent here. You should be on the other side opening cans of your special noob whoop-ass on various individuals.
