what is a good size of biceps in inches, for a woman? thanks y’all!
Really kind of depends on height (or atleast arm length). The same girth will look a lot better on a shorter arm. Also, a really really fat, cellulitic arm could have a nice large diameter, but a much smaller toned and muscular arm would be preferred.
depends on your height, bodyfat levels, and goals. laters pk
Ask Greg Valentino
ummmmm, need more info. How tall are you? Are you looking to look feminine and yet in shape or do you want to compete? Answer that and I’m sure all the ladies will have a question they can actually answer. As for a guy like me who isn’t into Hyooooooge chicks I like petite but not scrawny with some moderate shape and definition. I would never measure my girlfriends arms and hope she put another inch on! LOL. But if you are looking to get big arms then the height thing would be important. Good Luck!
My girlfriend’s arms size in at about 14" cold, flexed. She’s 5’8" and weighs around 165 lbs. Not a chubby 165 lbs either. . . definetly not chubby. Though she’s not a bodybuilder or powerlifter either. She’s trying to get into the fire department here in Edmonton. Thus far she’s the first female ever to meet all the minimum standards on the physcial test. The first ever! Not only that but she placed well into the top half on the physical (~200 people made it to the physcial). And now for some horn tooting. . . guess who put together her training program . . .

These are 13.5 inches without a pump on. My son is 6 and his are 8.5.
Tomorrow I start 5x5 training and I reckon that measurement is going to change.
What are your goals and what kind of training have you been doing?
Hey, what happened to the little box that allows a pic to be added? I will send it through a PM.
Sorry bout that!
I’ll echo what the others have said – it all depends on your height and what your goals are. Arm size is something people’s opions on vary a lot… as a man, I’m aiming for 18 - 20" but ther are plenty of guys and gals out there who probably think that’s too big and that I’m fine at 16.5 where I am. It will likely be the same for you - regardless of what size you decide to aim for, some will say “get bigger” and some will say “too big!” As for what us men like, I’d venture to guess that most of us don’t like big arms on a woman, I know I do not, but that should not effect your decision - go for what YOU like!
anything less than 23 inches is just a joke, come on! Call yourselves T-vixens!
I’m 5’4", 124lbs, 18% body fat. my biceps are 10 inches now. i would like to be more shapely but not ripped and “hyoooge”. thanks!
Smaller than mine, preferably ![]()
You’re really going to have to post some pics for us to give you some objective appraisals of your biceps size.
My wife is 5’8" and 130 or so. 23% BF and her bicep cold is 11.5". She doesn’t technically work out but she trains horses and moves hay and other heavy stuff every day. She gets more than a few comments like, “Who’s the chick with the arms?”
If she ever did go to the gym I’m sure she’d make good progress but that just isn’t her thing.
I’m with CGB…
So much depends on your height, frame size and your desired aesthetic. I’m a large framed 5’10", currently 200lbs at 23% bf. My arms cold are 16 1/4", which I’m told often is “really big, for a girl”. I’m estimating though, that when I reach a bf% I’m comfortable with, and lose my stupid triceps fat deposits, my arms will be at least 1 1/2" smaller.
Man, I thought my Greg Valentino joke was funny, but I guess not. I am not funny. boohoo ![]()
as long as they aren’t bigger than mine.
16 1/4’!!! I don’t even have big arms for a chick and I’m a guy. That’s it. Off to the sofa with a box of bon bons and some tissues.
JW: it was kinda funny. 'k?
Okee dokee: bicep size/measurement all by their lonesome means nothing. You have to take into consideration how your overall physique looks in terms of symmetry/proportion.
