Hey all, I’ve been considering doing a 3x a week FB routine which is repeated every other day (wed, fri, sun) while I’m cutting as a means to keep things simple for my schedule. It would look like this - squat / DBP / BBR / OHP / DL
Any suggestions as to which would be the best way to approach this? Was thinking I should either shoot for a medium range weight which I can repeat all 3 days, or, go heavy 8/4 (wed), then light 15/3 (fri), then med 10/4 (sun).
Thoughts?
Currently I’m doing a split - wed back/shoulders, fri legs, sun chest - all approx 12/4 medium/hvy weight (except for DL which I typically do either 5/5 for strength or 8/4 for reps)

When cutting weight, the last thing you should do is change up your routine.
Changing reps/movements will have a ‘neural adjustment’ phase. How will you know if you are getting weaker?
You could do fine, just not my preference…[/quote]
Thanks for the response
I’m familiar with a reputable cutting coach and he has assured me that so long as I am effectively challenging my muscles switching my routine is not a bad move.
