Simple conditioning session tonight

Kettlebell swings with push ups
20 - 1 swings with 5 push ups each round
Total 210 swings and 100 push ups

Finished off with 3 sets of curls

Went for a massage after training tonight. She worked on my right glute medius and right quad. She watched me squat and basically I am not using the right glute enough and that is making me shift into the left and load the right quad more. Hence why is it so sore. Seems to make sense and passed the sniff test.
She did some needling in both the glute and the quad and massage. Quad was pretty sore after but hopefully will feel better tomorrow.

Recommended some glute activation before squatting so I will have to look into that.

Nice mate, whatever it takes! I hit up banded clamshells and banded box walks pre squat days… i.e. walking in a big square clockwise then revserse it. Defo lights up the quads.

Also some hip aeroplanes to see how that feels deep in the groin?

My massage therapist who also happens to be a weightlifter to understands this stuff pretty well, mentioned a guy called Andrew Lock so I will check him out.

Very happy with a triple at 180, no belt no straps just grip and go.

Big upper body pump. Feeling really strong today.

Dumbell preacher curl

Had to help my left arm for the 12 rep of set 2 and the 8, 9 and 10th rep of set 3.
Arms super pumped after.

Damn it was a good session tonight. Just feeling great.

@T3hPwnisher inspired me to have a cafe tea tonight. Eggs bacon chips onion rings and peas. It won’t get me ripped but it tasted great.

Also today was a sad day in my house. It was the first day that my eldest daughter (13) asked for extra eggs. She ended up eating 4 eggs like me and when my son said he had eaten enough she quickly took his plate and ate his leftovers before I could. How am I going to add size now :frowning:
