Thanks mate, I did feel pretty good last night and that doesn’t happen all that much Even just in the gym, after the pull overs I just had a really good pump everywhere. When people ask why we do this stuff, I wish I could give them that feeling.

It genuinely would mate. I guess the problem is that people need to train for a little while before they can experience it. People who hate exercise wont stay at it long enough to get that feeling .

Conditioning tonight

Used the new tire sled to do some drags.

30m up - turn and 30m back
10 rounds of this.

My son did some work me, he did 5 rounds with the sled (no extra weight) and then 5 rounds of carrying a 5kg plate in each hand. He did a good job.

It is Australia Day down here which mean we get Friday off work. For most it means a BBQ and a few beers. For me it means Amrap deadlift, high rep squats and A big Ar$e steak. Happy Oz day everyone.

Friday 26 January - Hypertrophy week 1

Barbell complex
Row, clean, front squat, overhead press, back squat, good morning

5 reps per movement

Went to go straight to 140, then remembered I had programmed weights. Felt odd loading less that another plate a side.
100 x 5
117.5 x 5
135 x 5
152.5 x 5+ (336 lbs) - 11 reps - couple in the tank but didn’t want them to be ugly. Lower back was pretty tight after these.

Oh press
45 x 5
50 x 5
57.5 x 5 + (127 lbs) - 12 reps
Very happy with that. Haven’t pressed overhead in a while. Reps were all strict no leg drive.

High rep squat
70 x 20 reps (154 lbs) - nice and smooth
70 x 15 -
Sweating and puffing hard after these. Leg pump was real too.

Pull ups - BW. - fat boy pull ups

Wanted more but Grip was a little fried after deadlift.

Barbel curls
40 x 7 x 3 sets - arm pump city.
