Fantastic to see you compete again, great effort and results still hitting great PRs - Mr Consistency winning at life!
Congrats on the new PRs!
Hey - I still do a squat here and there!
Awesome job, by the way!
Great job Rob!
And also, donāt you just look cute as the dickens in that little outfit. Good job mate!
Great work!
Nice job re-focusing for the 3rd squat.
@alex_uk @freshyfresh @TrainForPain @jdm135
Thanks for the kind words guys, it is always appreciated.
@Cyrrex getting my significant behind into that suit is the hardest thing I had to do all day.
@FlatsFarmer I was so fkn happy with that third squat. Is always hard to hit something when you know you just missed it, but I wanted it bad. My knee is pretty angry at me today though.
Tremendous effort Simpson. Interrupted prep, dodgy leg, old. Pretty good. Haha
Impressive here, great work and some excellent choices on starting weights. Congrats mate!
Well done! Congrats on the meet PRs and powering through all the pain before the meet.
Adding my congrats on the PRs as well man, kickass job.
@wiseman83 every puppet still needs a master ..LOL
@raven78 @TrainForPain @PowPowPunishment - Cheers boys.
We really do have a great community of positive people here and seeing everyone else work hard in their own logs and knowing everyone will be waiting to see how I perform is a great motivator.
For all those logs that like my posts and those I follow and comment on, rest assured that you have all helped keep me disciplined and consistent and pushing through the injuries to just keep going. Thanks again to all of you.
Did you know that veggies are GREAT for squats? Iām assuming thatās what was behind that PR. Lol. But for real though, nice work and congrats!!!
Ha ha Thanks QQ. There was plenty of broccoli powering that second squat at 170 thatās for sure.
Wow! Great showing and great numbers you put up. Really cool to see your effort pay off and motivate you to get even better next year.
thats the way it works mate. Keep testing yourself and give you something to beat.
Monday 11th December - recovery block - no plan
Pulled up pretty well today. Knee is sore and general muscle aches but nothing tweaked which is very good.
Dumbell bench
30 x 8
35 x 8
40 x 8
42.5 x 5
45 x 5 (99lbs)
Had a little more but no need to flog myself.
Band pull aparts - lots
Dumbell rows
35 x 20 reps (each arm).
Good pump from this, going to include more high rep rowing over the next few weeks.
DB Flys
15 x 12 x 3 sets
These felt super easy but good pump.
DB Curls
15 x 10 x 3 - pump city
Good little recovery session. Filled the muscles with blood and worked up a sweat.
Dislike!
Notice that @QuadQueen said they are great not they taste great ![]()
