What would be your best FS to date (at least in this round of training)?

110 for a double a few weeks back. 90 and 100 were easy AF. But my hip issue made 110 horrible. I could have pushed and added more weight but don’t want to risk further problems 5 weeks out from a comp.

Good session. Happy with 88kg, that’s only 3kg under body weight. My technique is not great and really don’t get much out of the leg drive. But that just means there is a lot more to come once I work it out.

Upfate on last week

Gym sessions - done
Conditioning - done technicality my Saturday session with the log was more technique that conditioning but that was planned so all good. My Sunday conditioning was a simple walk with the wife.
Water - going to give myself a 95% score. Through the week was really good, lapsed a little on the weekends.
More protein - done. Breakfast every day was good, before bed protein was also good
No snack - started out great and then failed at the weekend. Wife went out on Saturday night so I have en evening to myself. Watched a move and this meant I hit the chips a bit to hard. Sunday night also had an urge to snack, so had some cheese and crackers. Not the worst as the cheese counted towards my pre bed protein. But still not great and its the behavior I am trying to fix more than the content of the snack itself. Need to get better.

Replace those crackers with carrots and get a serving of veggies in there. :wink:

That is not a silly idea. I actually really wanted some celery but we didn’t have any.

One of my clients once told me that the purpose of vegetables is to “be a vessel for butter”. lol

A little stiff and sore today but no real issues. A bit like last week, weight feels heavy but doesn’t move like it is heavy. Deep and smooth reps.

Massive exertion headache after set 2. Called it there and don’t even care.

Right wrist still a grumpy sod. No wrist wraps though. Very happy to get all the reps on bench. Very nice volume at this weight. Actually got 9 reps of bench on the last set.

Beautiful hard training, no frills, no gimmicks just good old fashioned hard work and sweet.
