Earthquake was in Lombok with some shock still felt as far away as Denpasar. I don’t think it will have an effect in where we are staying. Maybe a couple of aftershock tremors but not too worried.

Up at 4am to catch a 8am flight. A tireing long day and my hips and back really didn’t love sitting on a plane for 5 hours but it’s all worth it.

Yeah, as pale as I am, I never spend significant time on a beach or on the water without lathering on the sunscreen. I heard they just changed the laws on types of sunscreen you can buy down there, but protect yourself. Not much ruins a vacation more than a severe sunburn.
@Frank_C Dude, how much did you weigh in those pictures. You are significantly larger, now.

I was about 222 lbs which has pretty much been my body’s set point since 2007. I’m at my heaviest now and it’s tough because I can feel the extra weight. I’m not as comfortable as I used to be. I’m hoping I adjust and this can feel normal soon.
It’s good to know this year hasn’t been a complete failure!

I’m the same, fairly pale but hate being out in the sun. Down here in Oz you burn so bloody quick in the middle of summer when it’s over 40*C.

I basically look like a shorter slightly more out of shaper and older version of that pic!! Body has been hot and sore all night, had to sleep on top of the covers !! Lol
The sun in Aus especially Vic with its giant hole in the ozone is like no where else. Usually don’t burn as quick here but I didn’t put any sun screen on so u deserved it really !! All good today. And like I said to the wife “you have to go pink before you go brown”. She said I was more scarlet !!
