It also means for me the weight is a little lighter and I can feel strong in terms of speed and how I attack the weight.

Not sure if it was the deadlift, the high pulls or sleeping funny but my traps / neck / upper back are all kinds of jacked up today. Will need to try and clear that with some conditioning later.

The visa process can be difficult to migrate your way though. There are a number of migration agents who can help with the visa options and potentially jobs where companies will sponsor.

These may look stupid (when I do them) but of upper back soreness is anything to go by, they deff do something.

Sandbag to shoulder tonight.
Used the 55KG slam ball, the 62KG bag and the 80KG bag. Did one after the other each round for 7 or 8 rounds. Did 20 mins.

Alsruhes sandbag ebook is out. Ive bought it, looking forward to reading it and trying some of the sessions.
It looks like I’ll need a middleweight bag, or to modify a lot of the sessions, because i can barely pick up the 200 every minute but lots of the sessions involve carrying or shouldering every minute!
Maybe i’ll luck out like you and find a used Cerberus nearby!

Hard work today. Legs pretty sore.

Went to the gym in the morning today straight after waking, fasted. Body is not used to that.

Hanging out and watching strongman yesterday (and will be doing that today too) has lead me to a couple of conclusions.

  1. I am in pretty good shape for my age.
  2. I need to get a lot stronger

Monday 23 Jan - week 2

Some pain in my right leg. Very happy with how these moved.

Getting a little more used to these and starting to like them. Good lower body pump.

Wrapped and strapped for these. Bloody elbow. Presses were solid and rows were just hard on the lungs.

Moved through the session a little slow but it was very hot in the gym today.

I have a lot going on at work and at home right now, so will not be on here much for a while. I will still post up my sessions in my log but won’t be reading others or commenting for a bit. Keep training hard everyone and I’ll check in with you at some point.

Lungs hurting the most on these, that and glutes. All fast reps. Happy.

Db overhead press

These moved ok. Still feels a little uncoordinated. 10 reps on the last set just to prove to myself that I could.

Pull ups

Awkward as Fk. LOL

Good training session. Wife tried to kill me with a healthy mushroom, kale and halloumi cheese frittata. Should have abs tomorrow :joy::joy::joy:
