Fatsique update. Weighed in at 90kg (198 lbs)
Still short and still thic !!
looking fantastic
You are too nice sir. thankyou
Body was feeling pretty beat up last night. Got in a heap of food including a big smoothie and some left over birthday cake before bed. Feeling really good today everywhere except my left forearm / elbow. My recovery seems to be really good right now. I still maintain that the extra work on conditioning and movement I do with the burpees and strongman stuff is magic. @T3hPwnisher is a straight up sorcerer or shaman and more people need to listen to him. People like @SvenG know where its at too. Adding conditioning and moving every day is a game changer both mentally and physically.
I am not unbreakable but I will not be broken.
F$&@ing love it brother, staying dangerous. Great mentality
Appreciate the props dude. I’ll gladly be Akiro to your Conan.
LOL
‘I need you’
100 burpees again tonight. Kept a nice even pace and got 50 unbroken and then finished the rest with a few pauses for breath.
Went and got a shoulder, back and neck massage after. Trying to free up my stiff neck so that my headaches go away. My neck was sore but nothing compared to my traps which were nothing compared to my rhomboids. When she dug into my Rhomboids I could feel it in my teeth. Booked another one for 2 weeks time to keep on top of the volume soreness
Clumsy old bastard you are. Deadset. Thought I was bad. Lol
I am a disaster mate. ![]()
My new sandbag arrived today. I will move the 80kg of sand from my split bag later in the week and add 20kg to it. That wont fill the new one but it will be a big jump for me to get used to. Hopefully I can add the extra sand to fill it to the full weight early next year.
Nothing wrong with a bit of maintenance on the rig mate. Keep at it, plenty of good strong things happening here as per the norm.

Another good volume session. Soreness is starting to grow now so that just be good right?
The magic of conditioning continues. Trained hard last night and pretty sore by the end of the session. But today I feel great, very little soreness and movement is good. I will smash out some more burpees tonight and move the sand into my new sandbag ready for the weekend. Also need to swing by the hardware store and grab another 20kg of sand. Weirdly looking forward to seeing what a 100kg bag feels like.
Bench looking strong. 200x10+ for multiple sets is some serious work.
Thanks mate. The volume work seems to be going well at the moment. Although it is hard work and I am already dreaming of doing sets of 4 again…LOL
I relate to every word of this post. I genuinely believe that all the volume I’m doing now is good for me… but damn I just want to lift heavy again lol
It is funny in that we always seem to want the opposite of what we are given or even what we need. Right now I am doing volume and dreaming of some heavy lifting. But when I am deep into a strength block and all my joints are hurting I am dreaming of that big volume pump. That is why for this volume block I kept the heavyish triple for squat, bench and deadlift at the start of each session. I get to lift something heavy and then hurt myself with volume.
Now here, I have to disagree.
I am a one trick pony lol. I like heavy sets of 5 or less reps, and no cardio.
Now, I do lots of higher rep sets, lots of cardio, lots of mobility, lots of tons of shit I don’t like but know is good for me… but the whole time, I wish I was just doing a heavy triple lol
A little over a year ago I was the same, I did my 3 days a week in the gym and it was pretty much all low rep strength work. I didn’t do any conditioning at all. I then introduced the prowler in the gym once a week and I got my sand bag and started to use it on Saturdays. Oct 2021 I added burpees to the mix and started training 7 days a week. What I have found now is that the more conditioning and the more hard volume training I do, the more I seem to crave it. Super squats has a lot to answer too in this regard, in that it has been a mental and physical transformation for me. I still like the heavy low re stuff but my programming for the heavy stuff is all small progression and lower RPE work. Whilst lifting heavy is nice, feeling like you are really working bloody hard is good for the soul.
