Working on 100 unbroken burpees. Got 45 tonight by just pacing myself a little better. The had a breather and went 15 20 20 to get to 100. These never get easier

Nice Friday night session. Doing squats first is good because you get them out of the way. But you are then cooked for the rest of the session.

That gym looks seriously awesome. I’ve rarely found a gym that has a mono lift, much less multiple. All those calibrated plates, that leg press that looks like it could load up a Hummer, the entire gym is badass. Nice

I don’t know if it shows well on the video but that leg press is WIDE, like 2 people could sit in it wide. It is also able to move the left and right plates independently or have them locked together. Serious bit of kit.
Strongman Saturday session was sandbag carry with burpees.
1 carry followed by 10 burpees - 10 rounds.
The stitching on the bag has been coming undone for a while now. On rep 10 as I dropped it, the bag popped and leaked a little sand. Funny how it knew to hold on for 10 before splitting. Luckily it is Black Friday weekend so I ordered a new bag at a reduced price. Didn’t want to let @jdm135 have all the fun so the new bag will take 114kg or 250lbs. Time to get mong strong

I had a day off training on Sunday…OMG I must be sick. Nope. It was my daughters 13th birthday so we had a family day. We went into the City to see the Harry Potter Cursed Child stage show, and the out for dinner. Had a great day and most importantly my daughter had the best day.
Only minor negative for the day was me falling over whilst walking to the theatre. I was looking at my phone to check were we were going and stepped off the curb with my right leg. My good old ankle decided it was a good time to be like soft spaghetti and down I went like I had been shot. Phone flew out of my hand but luckily didn’t break. I hit the ground pretty hard, but bounced up pretty quick. Some nice people walking the other way stopped and asked if I was OK. My kids asked if I was OK to which my misses replied, dont worry kids dad has plenty of padding. … LOL. True though, being thic does help when you fall down.
