Thanks Mort i figured you had to be out there keeping the world safe. It was a good night and pretty happy with those PR’s. A four plate squat is now not that far away.

April 2017 your benching your previous squat 1RM and squatting way more than you DL only two years ago.
Thanks mate it is starting to feel good, like I actually feel a bit strong now. 4 years ago I started this process after tearing my calf and needing to rehab and do something whilst I couldn’t run. I literally started with an empty bar, 6 exercises, 3 sets of 8 reps, two sessions a week.
A little while after starting I mentioned to my friend (who’s shed I trained in) that I wanted to get to a 4 plate squat. He didn’t laugh but he did say something like 2 or even 3 plates is still ok. Now 4 years later I am close to hitting it.
Man, I was gonna say something about it, too, but sometimes even I wonder if there are some lines I shouldn’t be crossing. So I am glad went there for me!

You probably don’t know me well enough yet, but there are very few boundaries when it comes to just me that you can’t cross.

To be fair I don’t think any powerlifting suit is designed to look good. One can pull it off but it never looks good. Except me in one of course. Very sexy.
You are just the exception that proves the rule, dude.
But you powerlifting types all eventually end up shaped like mutant pears, so wearing a singlet is rarely going to have you looking your best.
I really shouldn’t lose sight of my show muscles. Gotta balance em out with the go muscles.
I’ve neglected curls/forearms my entire training life but doing arm wrestling training on the side has helped me be consistent with them. Shoulders need more work for the aesthetics gains

Really feeling the effects of the ISO Comp on Monday today. Tired is a serious understatement, it feels like major jet lag and a hangover combined. No training for me today but I will try and get a small session in tomorrow night. Nothing strenuous just some stationary bike and a few light pump sets of something.
I will do a 3 week restorative block starting next week. I will add some new movements or variations of the main movements and other stuff I don’t usually do just to give the body a break from the big three and get a bit of a pump. Looking forward to the change.
