Thanks mate. Just knowing you guys were there waiting to see me do my job helped me hit the numbers.

Does that mean I get the assist?

Fix for you:

Moving the odd family stuff here and there to do all the sessions as per the plan.

AWESOME job on those lifts. Last squat was an awesome effort not giving up on it, one sticking spot but smooth besides that. Last bench looked EASY, even with a longer pause you had 10-15 more lbs in you, second to last deadlift was smooth enough that I think you’ll have the 202kg the next time you go for it. Awesome job, dude. Looking solid.

Thanks man. It felt good to test and see the results of the work. Now for a little deload and then back to the grind.

Fantastic work Simo - lovely reward for your consistency!

Damn. Slack off on the log for a bit and then show up too late to say anything cool or inspiring.

Nice singlet!

There - no one mentioned that one.

Love seeing my fellow dads crush the iron. Y’all have become my small circle of strangers with whom I associate on the internet… and I interact with you more than anyone outside of my family in real life.

Well done, but it’s no surprise.

I would say I enjoy interacting with you guys more than anyone outside my family. But yeah, same.

Lol, I was waiting for a singlet comment. Mate on Facebook said the big show wants it back :joy::joy:

I feel the same J, there is a few on here who I am closer too than many of my friends who live round the corner. Especially at these times. One day I am going to make a trip stateside and meet some of those friends face to face, you can bank on that.

Your bench has come along very well in the last eight weeks.

Lmao I don’t really have a comeback for this. I will concede that these gains in 7 months have been really good ( there I said it). Now let’s never talk of it again and go back to talking about slow, consistency and how older guys have to take it easy :joy::joy::joy:

Thanks mark. You hit the nail in the head with your advice the other week, I just finally realised what it meant (I’m a little slow sometimes). What also helped was adding a couple of bands to the bench to make it less shiny.
