There was a big as policy change meeting where both sides presented their case. Didn’t go very well for pro trans participation policy proposal because it was voted down like 46-4. USAPL is biggest bully. No one bullies USAPL lol

In this case though I can see their point. Hard to find a way to include trans athletes and maintain some semblance of that mystical level playing field.
My takeaway is that there is insufficient evidence that post puberty MtF transition + mucho hormonal support does not represent an unfair advantage.
Physiology suggests that there would be one but the magnitude of that is an unknown so decisions on whether it constitutes an unfair advantage can’t be made. In that case rules should remain as is until such time as better data becomes available which is a big ask for a niche community in a niche sport. Dems the standards though burden of proof is on the people trying to change the rules.

I’ve had this out with a few mates around the campfire. If your a bloke, have gone through puberty as a bloke, trained hard as a bloke, then decided to identify as a woman, no matter what you do with hormones etc, you will still have an unfair advantage which is damn right unfair to the ladies that have trained their guts out to be the best they can in their given sport.
How does it even come up in testing? I always assumed that if your test levels come back as super physiological, you failed the drug test. Which wouldn’t be the case with trt since your test levels are only supposed to be in a normal range.
Transgender is a whole different topic. I am just reffering to biologocal men here.
Dunno how drug testing works. From my limited knowledge test is a range anyways. Some peeps high some peeps low. Unless u have a biological passport or something that tracks these measures over time then it’s not a practical approach. I think tests try to pick up markers of drug use so if you’ve been using exogenous test it’ll show up in some way.
I have no idea as well. Test is definitely a range BUT if you use exogenous test with the intention of doping, your test levels are off the charts. Like there should be no doubt that something is off.
At least that’s what a friend of mine, who does tons of research about this stuff (and takes steroids) told me.

With my very limited knowledge, I would say that should work. For test. If you do a cycle you don’t do test only.
It’s not without reason that on the day testing is referred to as an intelligence test rather than a drug test.

Back was still sore from Friday’s deadlifts, so I wasn’t 100% confident tonight.
I missed the first warm up at 145, the bar rolled a little on my back because I wasn’t tight enough so had to drop it. Pleased I managed to come back and hit it and the top set. Happy to get the work done. Glad that is over !!
