Is he watching us… look cool everyone
Two excellent points that I think are the essence of good training - a coach who’s experienced, informed, and attuned to his client/trainee AND a trainee who does what he coach says because he knows the coach is trustworthy.
And I totally agree, it’s much easier to train someone else, because I don’t get caught up in the fog of trying to cover every base all the time.
Na not on here mate. Wait… unless he is ![]()
You cheating slut!
I am shocked.
Lmfao I never said this was an exclusive relationship !!
If some other dude comes to the market suddenly with some triple layer Shart Short with extra security liner, well, I’ll know just who to come to.
Lmao I doubt it, you are a pretty big unit mate.
Legs and glutes were really sore last night. I was expecting this morning to be worse but actually they seem a little better. I will try to walk a bit today to get some blood flow through them and hopefully they will be ready for more squats tomorrow.
Kids go back to school today, which actually means they stay at home and do distance learning, The wife works from home today so has the pleasure of getting them to log on and do their school work for the first time. I will be playing tag team with her through the week for a while. I will be at home on 3 days while she goes to work. She gets home just after 2pm and then I go into work and work until the evening, kinda like half day at home and half fay at work. It makes the day feel long and I am more mentally tired so I will watch out for how that effects my training and adjust, food, recovery and volume as required.
You’re in Vic aren’t ya big fella?
Are the schools remaining closed there, or you just deciding to keep the little tackers home?
We sent a survey home, and when school goes back week after next, I will only have about 10 kids. It’s an interesting time for sure
That’s a pretty tough schedule man. Hows it going so far?
A mate at work is doing something similar, home with the kids until wife comes home, then works in the evening. He’s enjoying it though.
@I_Luc yes I’m Vic. You can send your kids to school but only as a last resort if both parent work. Let’s just say they are heavily suggesting you do whatever you can to keep them at home. Our school pre covid was 800 students now it is 20.
@dagill2 I am coping fine, luckily I have good managers that work for me. That means the place mostly runs itself. It has taken me three hard years to get the team where it is, so not really luck. I have my first day home schooling tomorrow so I will let you know how I go.
@MarkKO the good thing is that businesses are on board and supporting parents to do these odd hours. If work didn’t support me then no idea what I would do.
I love it/hate it when I get to that stage. I’ve never been smart enough to ride it out for a while and enjoy the easy(er) life.
That’s amazing, urged to stay home. Ours are urged to go still. I reckon parents will be pissed with their kids by the time the holidays are over at the end of next week, that means some would have had them home with nothing to do for 5 or 6 weeks already.
We’ve organised to share classes and deliver content online, check in with the kids at home etc. Gonna be a different time for sure.
They’re gonna miss out on soooo much this year, camp, sports day, all sorts of shit cancelled already, luckily mine had already done aquatics and I’d taken them for a day at Superloop (Adelaide) 500 just when this mess was starting to kick off
My wife was pulling her hair out today. Home schooling 3 kids and trying to work is apparently not easy ![]()

Hahaha, yep, that sounds like it would suck!
I’ll start somewhere Rob, missed your log for a few days and 80+ replies in here.
This is so true, and the fact that you do what you’re told makes you a good pupil. Many would have thrown in a lot of extras, just because.
Nice squat btw 3 plates and you made it look pretty easy.
We’re starting to open things up here. Schools up to 5’th grade are open now so is nursery.
We’ve apparently dealt with this in a good way, a lot more might open about mid may.
You are right about being a good pupil. Coach often comments how glad he is that I have stuck with it so long and in his words not fuked it all up.
Good to hear some things are opening up. It will be interesting to see if it has an effect on the spread. I am sure Australia is watching the rest of the world to see what they do next.
Fun fact, it seem that the countries that handles this situation the best is the ones with female leadership.
