Yeah, I’m alright man. In a pretty good place mentally, just not very excited about lifting at the minute. I’m working on it, just taking my time. I think the goal I can get excited about at the minute is beating your 80kg press. I think I could make that my aim to get as close to that as I can in this gym free time.

That sounds like a great goal. Program some simple progression with a heavy session and a lighter session higher reps each week and you can deff beat it. I’ll be watching.

My plan is slowly taking shape as “easy strength” style. Kettlebell clean and press almost daily, adding volume very slowly. One or two days a week of higher rep trap bar pressing and probably one day of 531 style programming once my lights arrive (I don’t want to do heavy pressing in a cramped garage with no light)

Sounds like a solid play. You should be able to do some tricep work with the kettle bell too.

I wasn’t wrong about being sore. Glutes and legs are sore. Hips are feeling a bit jacked up.

Every time I’ve squatted three times per week, that’s exactly where I’ve landed.

The stiffness today is more because the last 2 weeks I have only squatted once per week. When i am squatting more frequently the doms and the stiffness seems to be better.

What’s your best press? 80 is a nice goal. Or technically, I guess you said you were looking to surpass it. Have micro plates?

They should make those neoprene sleeves for asses. They would be fashionable, slimming, and increase squat performance by at least 27%.

Well, those are “Warm Pants” and are only 1.5mm thick. My Power Pants will be at least 7mm thick and restrict all movement of the hips, except when under heavy loads. Buy two sizes smaller for extra performance.
