Managed to pick some eye fillet at a good price today. Looks like protein is sorted for the next week !!
Ribeye > Eye Fillet. If I hadn’t blown all my monies on a gym I’d be looking a bit more seriously at some wholesale Wagyu during this period. Sher is doing wholesale prices + delivery right now. Only half a grand for a couple of kilos. Can butcher it a bit myself.
Rib eye is not the same as eye fillet. Eye fillet is the tenderloin or filet in France. Rib eye is the same as scotch fillet which is from the rib section. Either was it’s yummy tender meat with extra gainzzz
Australian naming conventions aside (which are weird anyways I dunno why same cuts have different names) Rib-eye is better than eye fillet, tenderloin, Filet Mignon IMO. Can’t beat that fat

Mate I have doubts you’re even a powerlifter at times. Doesn’t matter if you’ve done 0.5 more meets than me given it was a novice comp (I think). If you don’t have that glorious power belly are you really a powerlifter?

What with the weights being thrown around in this log, the pics of meat and the talk of power-bellies…man, I hate it when I am cutting. I don’t even know why I do it. Probably won’t even be allowed on a beach this year.
One of these days I am just going to say SCREW IT and go all in on the powerlifting physique. I wonder how much weight I could push.

Good start to the peak. The last week wasn’t the best prep for starting a peak. Hit by a car, no training all week and the diet and sleep was crap over the Easter break. Still it went ok but I am guessing I will be sore tomorrow.
Now just got to keep hitting the numbers each week.
