So I decided to skip training tonight in favour of another night of rest to get over this cold. Head feels a little less blocked but lungs feel like they are full of broken glass. At least it has made my voice sexier !! Going to train tomorrow night regardless so won’t miss any sessions for the week.

Absolutely agree!

This is me in my house. I have the immune system of a rock. The rest of the house are bedridden everytime the wind changes direction. Double edged sword, I never get I’ll but I am permanently nursing those that do.

Thanks man. Normally my immune system is good and I don’t get too much. Still didn’t miss a day of work though. After all I’m not dead yet!!!

@MarkKO and @I_Luc now I’m starting to feel glad you two aren’t fkn judging !!! It would be like the two old boys from the muppets (meant with all respect). :joy:
I actually agree though, no free rides, hold everyone to the rules that way you get to see what it’s really like and it’s fair.

I’ll start to look like him soon too, especially with my hair starting to grey in my beard! Just waiting for it to start sprouting from my ears too

Lol I just keep cutting my hair shorter and shorter because that way it doesn’t look like it’s a mass of wiry grey short curlies

Took the night off last night in favour of a hot bath and a rest to get rid of my cold. Feel a bit better today, still a little chesty but had a really good sleep last night. Going to train tonight and starting to look forward to hitting some heavier squats tonight.

Top set was a little wobbly but moved ok. Still a little more in the tank. Down sets were fine-ish !!

Lower back, glute and toes cramped up !! Arggggghhhh

Was supposed to be 5 sets but I called it at 3 because chest was tight and I have heavy bench on a Thursday. Coach said it was ok to drop a couple of sets off if I needed to so I’m not worried. Good session tonight, still not 100% over the cold so happy with how it went.

Gym looks like a pretty good set up too.

Thanks mate. Last time I tried this weight back on Jan this year, it was a butt ugly high rep. Last nights felt good with a little in the tank. Feeling really good about my training right now.

Its a good little gym, I get 24/7 access for $13 a week so its pretty cheap. There is a good mix of normal bro gym machines, dumbells and then also enough bars and bumper plates and rack positions that I never really have to wait for a spot. I train fairly late in the evening too which helps as its less busy. It was kinda busy when I started but by the time I left last night there were only 4 people in the gym.
Its a warehouse gym, with superheros painted all round the walls which is cool if you like that sort of thing. There is a real mix of members, everything from your usual bro gym goers chasing the pump, to the weightlifting or powerlifting focused trainees, and a good mix of men and women.

Didn’t get the best sleep last night, went to bed late as I was too charged up after training and eating late. Sat up and watched the Ronnie Coleman Doco on Netflix for the 3rd time LOL!!
Still a little chesty today but seem to be coughing up the last of it so hopefully will be back to 99% tomorrow.
Back is sore today, lower back is tight and I have a knot the size of a small orange in my upper back. Will get on the spiky ball tonight and roll around a bit and then have a hot bath.
Heavy bench tomorrow and I’m already looking forward to it, Will see if I can pause a little longer and keep @MarkKO and @littlesleeper happy. Ha Ha
