Is it just me, or are some people spending WAAAAAAY too much time discussing/arguing on the forums? It seems to me that there are HUNDREDS of “Experts” right here on the T-Nation forums.
I wouldn’t say it’s “WAAAAAAAY too much time” spent, relative to how much time there is in a day.
Some of us actually know how to manage our time properly. And if you haven’t done your share of research, then I question the efficiency of your time spent in the gym.
Its 8:27am in the morning and I’m at the office.
I suppose I could do some work…
I stop posting after 5pm when I head to the gym.
Yea fuck work. School, girlfriends (literally) and everything else. I’m fucking bigorexic and proud of it.

Actually, it IS just you. What I did today:
- Handed applications in to possible employers
- Studied
- Went to class
- Went to 2nd class
- Went to 3rd class
- Worked out
And now I’m home, relaxing, trying to commune with fellow members and/or gain some useful knowledge.
Working out only takes about an hour, maybe more with solid cardio.
isnt’t the very act of this post a bit ironic
pot-kettle anyone? lol
I always visit T-Nation before I go workout. It gets me all stoked up and ready to give’r shit.
I multitask, im looking at porn right now as im being a nuisance on T-Nation forums.

I’m typing this with one hand!

oh god, you crazy bastard.
that just goes to show, though: useful time management is key.
It’s 9:50 am. I got home from work an hour ago and I’m sitting here eating and browsing the internet before I go to bed. I’ve already put in my day of work. I’ll lift when I get up. You’re welcome to join me and we can argue in person.
not much happening in my life at the moment, cant wait for my BSc to start in september though, even then its only 2 days a week, cant wait to tryout the colleges ‘fitness centre’
It must be just you. I train at 5.30am then go to work, come home, bang my GF, post on T-Nation, then go to sleep. Only on week days though. Weekends… well, I cut loose.
Why did you start this topic instead of going to the gym?
If you’re in a gym for over an hour, you’re making friends, not muscles.

I thought it was over 45 minutes?

I do 45 minutes for lifting, about 15 for some cardio.

In that case, I’m at the gym for 55 minutes. 5 minutes both sides of lifting for a warm up/down.
I just don’t get the people who spend hours at the gym in a single day and do it 5 days a week. And then they wonder why they aren’t getting anywhere.

Exactly. While I do spend a lot of time getting meals ready and generally “preparing” for a workout, the actual workout takes all of 40-45min at the most.
This post took me less than 40 seconds to type so why is the OP finding it so hard?
I have very little variation day to day.
I train.
I eat.
I go to class.
I eat.
I talk to my girlfriend briefly, unless its the weekend…then we might hang out.
I eat a few more times.
Anything in between is mostly reading T-Nation or sleeping.
Sad, but I like it. And it’s getting my body fucking results.

Man you guys must have amazing training density. I’m routinely at the gym for 2 hours. Turns out doing it this way I gained 70 lbs since I started training. I guess I must be doing something wrong, because there’s no way in hell I could complete my training sessions in 45 minutes. Especially max effort days.
