He’s not over the loss. Buttons was his first dog.
He just looks so lovable. They estimated he’s about 5yo. I haven’t talked myself out of driving over there to meet him… lol
See if he gets along with other dogs.
Sadly, these photos are going to become more and more rare, but here is my 10 month old boxer puppy with my nearly 15 year old pug (she turns 15 on 10 May)
. My wife was the same. Her first dog. She was completely torn up over it.
My friends just lost their toy poodle last weekend and are picking up another one next weekend.
I’m not that quick. More like when the right one comes along, I have a place for it.
The Queen of The Dog Park is getting up in the years now too, likely around 13 or so.
She still chases the ball with lots of vigor and makes the other dogs jealous. She refuses to engage in their antics and out pisses them all.
I think I’m going to push for this one, because he’s been in the shelter for a year and looks like Mikey and also my first lab, Frankie, and I want to take him hiking and also take him everywhere else.
Problem 1: he’s listed as approximately 8, which is pretty old for a dog that size. Problem 2: husband.
He could be here on the 26th, though, which is my birthday weekend. Which seems…helpful.
Okay, it’s done. He’ll be here on the 26th!
I can tell that he WILL get along with the others. And plus, he’s a good boy! He’d be replacing a bad boy, so the balance would be even more, like, balance-y. Just a giant win!
Yay!
!!!
Yeah! I’m super happy for you! He looks like very much a people doggy!
Congrats! He looks like a 100% good boy.
How did I miss this?!?!?!?
So excited!!!
Ooops! Well, somebody had to test the soil.
