Man's Best Friend!

Hey Guys,
A recent thread just got me to thinking about who in T-Nation has a dog.
Here is my dog, her name is Bumper. She is a little over 8 years old. I got her when she was 11 weeks from a guy I went to college with. He couldn’t take her home with him and the rest is history.

I love dog threads.

This is my Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Bailey. She’s just over a year old. She’s my baby.

This is Molly. She is about 1 year and 4 months old.

We got her in hill billy type area christmas a year ago. She was living with the mother dog and siblings in a fence about 10 square foot, all mud poop and urine. She smelled horrible when we got and she was covered in mud and poop.

After seeing her living conditions we could not leave her there. We brought her home where she tried to hide from us for the next few months. She was not used to human contact, I assume, as she wanted nothing to do with us. One interesting note, when I went into the pin to get her, the mother dog ran to the furthest corner of the pin and cowered. Even when I grabbed Molly and she yelled, the mother dog did nothing.

Molly has come a long way since then, and actually enjoys human attention now. Sometimes she is still somewhat skiddish and may run from her shadow, or the wind.

Really cute dog. That is funny because our dogs must be close cousins.

You can’t tell it that well in the previous picture, but Bumper is a North American Stat. Terrier (or so I am told). She has the same tire toy that your dog has.
This picture might show it a little better.

Her name is princess, isn’t she the cutest dog ever!

Nice! Great dogs, aren’t they?

Yup, that tire and her (my) basketball are about the only two toys that haven’t been destroyed in a matter of minutes.

this dog doesn’t have a name because when we got him no one in my family would agree on one. I just call him “Dog” or “doggy”.

Here are my two boys. Mac is 5 years old (hes the darker of the two), he was the runt of a redwood labrador litter.

Shamus is the pup thats on the beach, that was when he was about 4 months old. He is at ten months now weighin in at 85 lbs. Both his parents were well over 100lbs so he should also be a beast.

As you can see its impossible to take a nap by myself at my house.

My black cocker spaniels, Poppy and Sasha. Both eejits, but totally adorable. This was taken the day we got them when they were 3 months old.

Sasha is the boss, and loves watching rugby [she growls when the English team comes on the screen- what a well trained dog  ] and Poppy has the puppy-dog eyes mastered so well I don’t think she’s ever heard the word “no” in her year of existence.

Dino, doing what he does best.

We love dogs of all sizes, but having virtually no yard necessitates having the smaller species, in this case teacup chihuahuas.

From left to right, the dogs are Thor, B’lana, Ginnie, and Tom Paris.

Thor, who frequently walks around with his tongue sticking out due to his large overbite is the youngest, the stupidest, and arguably the most loyal of the 4.

Tom, although at times quite sissified, is the alpha and frequently has to kick Thor’s ass, but the dummy never seems to learn.

B’lana is afraid of everyone and everything, except me. She will sit on my shoulder while I watch TV. If my wife calls her name she will slowly slink around the back of my head to my opposite shoulder, putting my head between her and my wife.

Ginnie was my wife’s dog she raised from a bottle-fed puppy months before she met me. She’s about 9 years old and the best-behaved and smartest by a long shot.

Oh, yeah, and that human kid in the middle is my daughter.

Edit: Helps to attach said picture.

This is Molly. She is my 7 year old english bulldog.

Here is my gal, Jenny!

Here’s my boy Samson.

Dogs are man’s best friend indeed.

Loyal (and forgiving) beyond belief.

They give you so much love and they expect nothing in return.

They can sacrifice their lives for their owners.

DOGS= GEMS… priceless.

Fantastic thread so far! Great pictures.

This is Boris my 5 month old english bulldog. The best dog I’ve ever had…

#2-Guata, almost 14 yoa. Daughter of Kathy. Do the math, she’s 12 in the picture.
