Shoulder Rehab... From The Couch?

Sounds lazy? Of course it is. But hear me out.

I’m a coach and I was recently injured while wrestling with our heavyweight. Not my shoulder actually, my ankle. The tibia was dislocated, two small pieces were broken off of it at the base of the ankle, and the fibia was completely snapped a few inches up. Needless to say, I’m on my back, and I’ll be here for a few weeks.

So I figure, while I’m hear, why not work on my shoulder? I have what I believe is shoulder impingement syndrome. I was wondering what I could do with a home dumbbell set, maybe a few bands, and any other household items I have laying around.

Hey, I’m bored. I need to do something other than internet poker.

the fibia is the number one fictitious bone,
i suppose tibula would be number two

sorry, i was feeling saucy… after some googlage, i see that fibia might be acceptable

That’s ok, I would’ve blamed the drugs anyway. They waste their time explaining what happened in medical terms to you after surgery. I did some research after and found out I had bimalleolar ankle fracture and a fracture to the fibula.
