A snowboarding accident along time ago left me with a bad right shoulder. My shoulder is very weak and if I bend my right arm behind my back far enough I can dislocate my shoulder. (Hurts, but its more of a pain to get back in place)
Anyways I have alot of trouble doing some of the workouts and would like to know what exercises I should do to help my shoulder? I would like to tighten those muscles so when I do workout, I don’t have to worry about my shoulder popping out.
Thank you
go see an ART guy.
First of all, you should see a Sports Medicine Doctor. One that really works with athletes. He(or he) will be able to guide you in the right direction.
Best of Luck.
Popeye, I’ve had both shoulder dislocated on me and I have done a ton of research on the situation. The only two ways to stop the dislocations for good are either surgery, or by having a good prolotherapist do prolotherapy on your shoulder to regrow the torn ligaments. I have had each of these on one shoulder. Both suck, but my shoulders are tight as hell now. ART worked well for pain, but didn’t stop the recurrence of the dislocations. Other than that, internal/external rotator cuff exercises could be helpful, but be very careful cuz they can lead to more damage. best of luck
What’s prolotherapy? I’ve never heard of it.I have the same problem with my left shoulder. Dislocated it a few years ago, and it still hurts when I work out. NycMan
Thank you for your responce.
I did have surgery but never finished the physical therapy. (Home issues).
Whats good prolotherapist?
Thank You
