Shoulder Education

Hey guys, long time first time. I figured I could use a bit of education before (if) I see a doctor.

Long story short, I hurt my shoulder playing the manly game of softball. I was swinging a baseball bat. Pathetic, I know. I was swinging righty and on the follow through of the swing (when I released the right hand) I heard a pop in my left shoulder. What is this motion called? Subflexion?

There was no acute pain, but a dull throb at times. this was about a month and a half ago. I still have full ROM. I’ve slowly worked up to pushups but those don’t feel great. Additionally, for the next two weeks it felt like I could pull my left scapula farther back than my right scapula. It just felt a little unstable. I still can’t really do dips. I can do pulling exercises.

Any ideas on what happened? Any articles you can point me to? I would be extremelyextremely thankful for anything at all. Not even sure where to start.
