Appreciate it. I don’t think you would regret the Peloton purchase. If you can find a good used one on Facebook marketplace that can help with the sting of buying new. The monthly fee can also be a turn off to people, but I still feel it is a good value for what it offers.
Glad to hear that things are improving. That is fantastic news!
Great job on that ride this morning Shane! Solid pace! Yeah, the northern lights thing would be awesome to see. I saw a few images on FB that were taken here, at the beach. I guess it helps to be able to see most of the sky with very little light pollution. This was a cool one that I saw taken from Shell Island at Wrightsville Beach. Ironically, our house is about one mile past the tree line on the other side of the sound.
Yeah man. As the crow flies, we are about 2-3 miles from the beach. To drive there it is more like 8 miles. Oh well, it’s a lot closer than it was when we lived in Raleigh…
Man, that was one heck of pull session Shane! Super heavy on deads. I’m surprised you didn’t lift the Smith machine off the ground with those shrugs. Solid sets across the board man. Must have been that good eating.
Man that was a hell of a leg day Shane! Moving some serious weight on SSB and Leg Press. How do you like those lying leg curls? I have never really tried them.
Congrats on 20 MPH on the Peloton! I thought you had already done that earlier in the year? Either way, glad to see that pace going up. All in the saddle too. Very good work man!
I was genuinely shocked to see the Panthers come back and beat you guys yesterday. Y’all played a really good game. The Panthers fans are something else. Last week everyone was saying to trade Bryce Young and then he goes out and has a career day yesterday and now he is the savior of our franchise again. Next week we will probably get crushed by the 49’ers and everyone will be saying to trade him again. Just depends on the week I guess…
Thanks Trent. This was the first 20 since I quit powerlifting and went back to actually riding it with a purpose.
Yeah, the Falcons just suck man. I called the touchdown in the 4th that put you guys ahead. Previous play our LB Ellis was covering one of your receivers and I said if we leave him out there to do that again they are going to score on him. You guys go 5 wide, and I am coaching from the couch calling a timeout to get the right coverage out there, which doesn’t happen. Sure enough, you guys go back to your receiver who has put Ellis on skates and is now wide open in the endzone for a touchdown.
Our coach needs to go. He really is not the man for the job. We have a ton of talent and a head coach who stands on the sidelines like a deer in the headlights. It is almost fun to tune in to see how we are going to FIND a way to lose this week.
Man, I really appreciate how you see the game in that much detail. I’m usually looking at the TV and going, “Hmm… I wonder what’s about to happen in the football game?” There was one play where it was 3’rd and 4 and we lined up with an empty backfield. My wife asks “I wonder if they’re going to run the ball?” I told her they don’t have a running back on the field. That was my only intelligent comment of the entire game.
