Nice job on the Peloton ride and a heck of an upper body session this morning! Glad your CGBP numbers are light years better than my regular bench numbers… I hope Seinfeld was good. Can’t imagine it not being hilarious.
Meant to comment on that too. LOL Glad to hear I’m not the only one! To make matters worse the battery in our scale finally died and I “haven’t had time to replace it.”
Holy fak my legs are toasty. Just moving some blood into them this morning. Knees are a little sore too. 2 more workouts this week then into Deload next week.
I can only imagine how sore your legs must be lifting all of that weight. LOL Good on you for getting them moving this morning. That truly takes dedication!
Most people tie their shoes before they workout but whatever works for you… J/K
That was a heck of a session! Nice and heavy on bench and Kroc Rows. I must have looked up Kroc Rows about 20 times at this point. They are still what I refer to as bench supported rows.
Thanks Trent. I started calling them Kroc Rows after reading Wendler’s original 531 book. Somewhere I wrote down that half your bodyweight for sets of 20 is the standard on them. I have never worked out in a place that had 125 to 130 pound DBs so I didn’t really bother with it. This gym has dbs that heavy so I am actually going to shoot for that.
So sets of 20 with 85 for me?!?!?!? Usually I’m doing about 70 lbs for a set of 10 (but am usually supersetting them with something else and not resting between sets). Still, that is some serious weight to be putting up 20 reps. I have a long way to go to reach Shane status.
